Sounds like a better version of Adam Bentick. As I was reading that, that is who I kept on thinking about. But better still, Joseph has some foot speed, which AB clearly doesn't.
Same here. It will take him a while to build the body strength you need to play that position though, so Bender will keep his job for the next few years at least.

I like how we've drafted some guys with serious pace this year. Ratten acknowledges the way the game has changed. Love everything he has done, completely different to Pagan. Seems to be more understanding of the modern game

Joseph is probably the only one im excited about drafting today. Loved reading about how he's a ball winner in the tight contests, but best of all, how he sets up play with his hands particularly (from Snoop Dogs analysis) - this seems to fit in perfectly with Rattens game plan of transferring the ball through our hands. Joseph sounds like he could be a good pickup for us - there's definately a bit of a hole there in our side which he could take. If he's good enough he can push aside blokes like Bentick and Blackwell

Little hard nut.

Will go well.

Too bad he went to Carlton :p Nah, I am glad someone picked him up, heard he played a game in the 2007 AFLST Premier League Grand Final for Glenorchy. I remember watching him in the colts as well...good player hope he plays well in the AFL.

Re: Aaron Joseph a Blue

From the Glenorchy Football Club. Good player, not very big though. I thought his size may have gone against him.

A very good 'in and under player' and a good tagger.

With Ratts to coach him he and mentor him he has the potential to develop into an excellent player.

Has looked good from what I've seen of him Bee. Backs himself, reads it well, goes hard and seemed quite fast.

Liked what I've seen of him - probably my favourite player out of this years draftees. Reminds me a bit of Kerr - similar size, attacks the ball hard, tackles ferociously, loves to back himself to stand up in tackles/accelerate away from congestion and kicking can be a bit off radar at times. Will be interested to see how he develops at Carlton.
