Lord can definetly play footy and is worth keeping as he is a match winner.I have hated Tim Hargreaves ever since I was at Melbourne vsGellong in 97 and he kicked a goal and started being a real tool with the ppl behind the goals.

For what it's worth I think of Aaron lord as a poor man's Jeff Farmer who doesn't kick nearly as many goals as The Wiz (I'm not that high on Farmer for that matter). I'd rather have a crumbing forward who kicks 2 goals a week and occasionally 3 or 4 rather than a player like Lord who may kick 5 or 6 one week and then you don't get anything out of him for another 4 or 5 games. Sure he may win you a game off his own boot once every other year but I'd take someone with a little more consistency.

I believe that Lord is not in the same League as Farmer, but he doesn't have to be.
He needs to find a team that doesn't focus on him, unlike Melbourne did with Farmer, so he can dissapear, and then magically reappear as required (hopefully).
He's played his best football up the ground, and roaming, rather than camped in a pocket, whereas Farmer does his stuff in front of goals.
If costing the same, would pick Famer anytime, but Farmer at $300K, and Lord at $100K?
I'd be tempted to go for Lord.
