No accountability for facts in commentary. Wrong in every aspect, Dermott. We had 6 players between 50-100, they had eight. We had less 100 + players than them and they had three 200 gamers, while we had none. We had 6 players under 10 games, they had 4.
These dickheads forget that 4 of our remaining premiership players in the side were virtual or actual first year players (Cordy, Daniel, Dunkley, Maclean) and Boyd not much better. A third of Dale’s 30 odd games were as a sub who averaged about 20 minutes on the ground. In the next 4-5 weeks that is going to start changing but at the moment no side is younger or less experienced than us. Period. Be nice if media could accept that.

Nah, Dermott is too obsessed by that Suns kid Crossley that looks like he's 35, built like a brick ****house and about ready to coat hanger blokes to worry about a little thing like facts.

Dermott, instead of being pre-occupied by garbage and superficiality, wake up and have a look at the enormous contribution of Naughton.

"but...but..but...the dogs won the premiership two years ago, there's no way they can be the most inexperienced team in the competition. That makes no sense!"

Anyways...Aaron Naughton.

As a rebounder and intercept player, he’s doing really well. Has a bit of work to do 1v1 but that will come with size and experience.

Think CHB with Cordy as his partner in crime would be a nice combo. The gorilla forward still needs a dance partner. Guess Adams fits that bill, maybe Collins? Can he play football? Enlighten me

That’s what we spent $2m on trengove for. No, wait.........

I just don't get the thinking with Trengove. Cordy, Naughton and Trengove would complement each other so well, and with Adams and Young in the wings too would be the nucleus of a very good backline. Would allow Wood to play a more attacking role as well.

You need commentators to start drooling before you can get a RS nom. At least that's the way it seems to work.

Fair chance Goober Crossley will get it next week.
Yes any Brisbane\GC\GWS\Sydney dud who gets two kicks and a handball will be nominated first.

If the media are too lazy to do research and use facts it is easy enough to log on to BF.
Happy for these knuckleheads to plagiarise us.

They actually had the stats on the screen during the game. Dermie chose to use Trumpian alternative facts instead. It fit his Crossley narrative.

I reckon Cordy is the one to take the gorillas when we come up against them. Based on cordy's recent performances, there isn't a forward in the league who I'd prefer to see Trengove taking instead of Cordy. Trengove doesn't really suit our defence, but would make a great Beveridge style number 1 ruckman while English develops.

Steady, folks, the Rising Star is meaningless unless you're depending on winning the car. It always comes down to the opinions of people you don't respect.

Suspect Trengove will get his shot in the ruck now.

I wanna see Adams, Boyd and Gowers up front with Naughty, Cordy and Trengove down back.
Yeah I think with our backline currently looking good with Naughton, Cordy, Williams, Crozier and Young, I’d play Adams forward next week. It makes us more structured and formidable with Boyd, Adams, Gowers, Dunkley, Lipinsky

I am loving what Naughton is doing, however he is not putting up huge numbers which makes it hard to get a nom. It would help if we had an 'easy' game where he could get a few more easy kicks and marks across half back.

As others have said, it will come.

Could easily be our best defender in a long long time. His first few games have been light years ahead of Lake's early career, and he has the guts and speed of Morris.
