While I'm at it should I trade out Macaffer for Ballantyne so I'm playing with no dounuts? :o

Side would have great bench depth then but only two trades left. :eek:

I didn't see WC last week. Is Cockie likely to get another game this week? If not, I'm looking at a donut. He did get 78 last week with 11 tackles. OTOH, he had 2 kicks.

but I got cover with Dawson, Beams (for Ablett), Jurrah (for Pav) in each position for cover

The second one is a bit iffy as you already have cover for 1...the question is do you really need cover for 2?

I don't know if it's worth it for Ballantyne.....and how many points do you tihnk you'd get from Ballantyne...

Anthony is good as it covers you one spot (with Muston.LOL)..but you've already got cover for one spot with M.Brown.. The Ballantyne trade could be a waste if Pav and SJ come back next week...as you'll have 2 playing emergencies...i tihnk having 1 playing emergency for each position is always the ideal position..having 2 (unless if you had them at the start) could be seen as a waste...

So the second trade..not sure man...3 trades is getting low for you...

ROFL! I think theres only room for one of us to be as daring as Prompts and it aint me. I'm shutting up shop and will re-open finals time. LOL! :p

No guarantees, but you'd think one of SJ and Pav will be back..you only need 1 back to get a full side...

No cover but have a soft league game so will still wait for Pendlebury (for Hartlett) to drop in price

I have Cox and Drummond back (hopefully!) to offset some of the pain

I have been concerned for a while that Ablett isn't 100% and they will rest him for some games before the finals
 
FFS!!! just hit complete trade for ablett, and get a txt msg from a mate telling me he's out. Just kicked the dog into next week
 
Glad I waited until this afternoon to make my trades.

I was going to look at upgrading Rich to Ablett this week but now I'll either upgrade him to Swan or Montagna or just hold off until next week.

Bit of a concern that Ablett may miss more than one week though if his calf injury is more than just a niggle and Geelong decide to play it safe.

That sucks, almost made the same mistake myself.

Same thing happened to me last week though when I traded in Stevie J for Pav and he was a late withdrawal and will miss this week too. May as well have stuck with Pav & saved a trade.:rolleyes:

Whats the fuss? I have Ablett and I actually am quite pleased!

Anthony can start for me 70 odd points, and Jimmy Bartel can be my captain.

Everyone has got Ablett anyway and if you dont your not a threat. So it basically doesnt matter.
 
Whats wrong with him? Rested? I've read all the posts on here and the news stories on Superfooty and AFL.com that say he's out but no reason why is given...

Well I guess those who don't have Ablett or never had him can breathe a sigh of relief that the potential to score a 400 point captains game is gone.

Those that do have him (like myself) will just have to start Anthony and resign ourselves to the fact that the 500 point captains game from Ablett will come next week vs Melbourne.
