ahh cheers.

That is unfortunate. Liked him a lot.

Edit - are you sure? Google does not throw up the Bronco signing and he is listed in a rugby sevens junior squad.
Yep signed as underager and also in Aust Schoolboys 7s squad

Players to Watch Countdown No.18: Josh Wagner

Josh Wagner (Aspley)
Age: 20. NEAFL Games: 48.

This classy left footer has gone from strength-to-strength over the past four years and has all the potential to take his game to a new level in 2015. The smooth-moving and agile half-back has come through the Aspley junior ranks and made his senior NEAFL debut in 2011 as a 16-year-old.

Wagner featured as a 23rd player in his first season and went on play a role in Aspley’s thrilling two-point Grand Final win over Sydney Swans last year.

Now 20, Wagner is set to play his 50th NEAFL game in 2015 where he is expected to spend more time in the midfield following the departure of experienced players in Ryan Matthews and Austin Lucy.

Regarded as a future leader of the Hornets, Wagner is expected to flourish in his fifth senior season with a solid pre-season under his belt.

Luke Curran – Brisbane Lions Academy Manager“Improved effort from our U18 boys today, but skill & decision making errors proved costly throughout the game and in the end result.

“Jacob Allison in for his first game after a broken toe injury was clear standout on his wing, Nate Dennis in the ruck gave our midfield first use at stoppages with Ben Keays feeding of him all game. Reuben Williams worked into the game after switching to the half back line in the 2nd half and Nick Weller used his speed to continually chase down and apply tackle pressure on the opposition.”

Goals: Wylie Buzza 3, Eric Hipwood 1, Jacob Allison 1

Best: Jacob Allison, Nate Dennis, Ben Keays, Reuben Williams, Nick Weller

Good to see Dennis doing well, will be an interesting one. Reuben williams also a potential bottom ager

Yeah Dennis did okay last year from what little I saw of him. It will be interesting to see how much weight he has put on. If we went with he and Kristelly at teh champs we could dominate the rest.

He is now listed as 200cms. Needs his body to develop in time.

Jesus I read somewhere that he was listed at 194cm late last year. That's an insane growth spurt.

My understanding was that he is born on the 31/12/97? does that constitute him as an underage or....

Being born that late in the year is a disadvantage, but unfortunately you are still counted in the age group of the year of your birth...

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter what month of the year you are born, it's more about when you get your hands on the footy and what you do with it when you get it.
