I think if you track back through the threads my friend that there has been plenty of accolades been thrown around for this bloke, especially from myself and a few others who look deep into a pack to acknowledge the hard work that he does to make outside players such as Stevens and Carro look good.

Would be in my votes today, and pretty high up thats for sure!

i was about to make a thread on him. agree 100%, does not get the credit he deserves. 5 tackels, 5/6 clearances, and i think 10 contested possesions. probably isnt getting the praise because he wasn't one of the few that dominated in the last quater.

Brilliant.

Looks to a bit lighter than he's been in the past which helps with mobility. Thought he was done and dusted coming two months back, but has cemented his spot in the side.

in another year or 2 when he really hits the peak age for strength he will crush people like coke cans in his takles.

we need tough, hard players like that who can lay takles that make opponents bones shake. bentick & hadlee hopefully can both play in the team, maybe rotating thru forward pocket to keep that hard edge in the forward area while they rest a bit.

he sets a fine example too with the tackling & is still young (21 i think)..

Has been one of our most consistent! Did not get a possie stat in last Q but did a couple of things despite playing only the start and finish of Q (who would blame Ratts for not wanting to change a thing - the way we came back)

For 4 quarters felt Bentick along with Judd and Gibbs were our best. He really has gone up a level this year and is looking like he will rise to similar levels to Mitchell from Hawthorn. Wasn't always so sure about him but am starting to see the value that some others here on bigfooty saw long ago in him.

As I was saying to my dad last night during the game, Bentick is so crucial to our team dynamic.

People on here complain about his disposal, but I believe his tackling and 1 % and the way he gets a clearance away for us for outweighs this.

When we start to get guys like, hoops, walks, juddy, army and co...guys that can run and carry the ball bentick will be a great asset to have, to fire a quick handball out to these guys.

But under no circumstances should bentick be allowed to carry the ball, much like a ruckman he should handball at any opportunity.

He will be a great dynamic for us as we go forward. Much like a Harris from North and Mitchell from the Hawks

At the start of the year didn't think he would fit in to our side with, Judd and Hadley.

Now he's pivotal to our midfield, been our best / most consistent player for the past 4 weeks

He is improving and that's all you can ask of him. Has certainly risen to Hadley's challenge, although Hadley's finishing around goal is still superior.

Bentick is starting to use his stength really well I think. I love i when he shakes off a tackler like a rag doll and fires out the handball.

I hope Hadley proves a valuable pick up for us (there is a bit to like about him) but I will say it again - with Hadley's publicist I am going to be the next PM.

I would love Adam to kick the odd goal but he can't do everything - mind you his goals per game av is the same as Hadles

- Hadley has played 2 good games for CFC
- he was let got by Brisbane
- and please no more talk about being a premiership player, last selected (his 4th? game ever) and a non contributor (not that you would have expected him to be)
