Yeah but don't forget Mummy and maybe even Laidler will be promoted next year,which leaves a vacancy for a Rookie to play seniors next year.

Doubt he'll play next year, but he definitely seems to play with a bit more fire than his brother physically.

I think he will play next year. If he gets an early start to the preseason and jump on the protien shakes he could put on 10kg which would be a good start.

Varcoe and Motlop were both impressive today. Hard tackling, clever kicking for the most part. One of them might sneak in a game or two next year if they put on weight and we are struggling with injuries.

I think they have both been great considering they didn't do any pre-season training.

Motlop only started playing about 3 weeks ago as he has been recovering from the shoulder ops.

A. Varcoe started late too after his knee reco so both look promising to me.

Motlop is already on our senior list (for ala Prismall draft pick) & Adam is a rookie listed player only.

What are the chances of adam getting an upgrade to the senior list. with a pre season he could make an impact next year (and we lack forward defensive pressure). I thought motlop struggled a bit today, he was definitely a boy playing against men but showed glimpses (good mark, a banana that hit the post)

I'd say highly unlikely for next season.He doesn't need to be upgraded until the end of next year.

I don't think he will be elevated next year but he might him and Ranga might get a look in when someone goes on the long term injury list
