That was only a quarter of a century ago though Jmac... game has moved on a bit. And anyway this guy was an accurate and efficient kick. Admittedly only up to about 40m max but he hit his targets and played to his limitations. The guy on the right carrying him on the other hand.. lol..

Shaw's kicking accuracy and decision making were fine, he could spot up a target, it just needed to be no farther than 25 meters away!

Needs to show he can kick an AFL football. I'm not convinced after nearly 50 games at the top level.
