No, just hope it helps in your limited understanding of what the effects were of this camp.
it is unbelievable that someone was more concerned about the reporting of it than the actual events of the camp And the effect it had on the players and club as a whole.
Your posts centred around the lack of quality of the journalism where the rest of the country were discussing the lack of concern for the players impacted by this camp.

You stopped responding because you did not have a leg to stand on.
His posts actually sound like the crows hierarchy press releases circa 2018 to 3 August 2022

Paul Marsh and Dangerfield don't look good from this. Both must resign.
AFLPA what a joke.
Factor in how much Dangerfield actually knew about this over the journey given his close relationship to players past and present, plus Betts and Jenkins who have both spent time at his new club and his silence is even more damning.

It's an interesting one. Jenkins and Dangerfield are pretty clearly firm friends. I find it pretty hard to believe that Jenkins blames Dangerfield for any of this.
Not saying he blames Dangerfield in any way, just highlighting the fact that all of these supposedly independent organizations and representatives that are meant to cater for player's needs and welfare will never drop the AFL hierarchy in the manure if it means that they might be ostracized and jeopardize the potential of any future income.
Whilst not charged with looking after player's interests, Gerard Whateley and Dwayne Russell are two of the greatest examples as far as the media goes.
If Danger had any balls he should have come out with both barrels blasting by now on behalf of the players that elected him.

Fair call, absolutely agree.

It would be interesting to see in his capacity as AFLPA president how hard PD pushed other players for info.

As we've read, there was a lot of brainwashing and rehearsed answers going on, and if not enough corroboration of the story was forthcoming it may have been harder to act. It's good to see they are going back to interview all of those players again. With time it may be easier for them to tell the truth. On the other hand, with time has come changing public perception and there might be an element of "throwing under the bus" that may now happen.

Important to get factual recollections.

To be fair to Dangerfield his position is surely predominately just for appearances. I doubt he actually carries much weight when it comes to investigations like this
I beg to differ - he is the most powerful voice from the players perspective in the AFL right now and benefits well financially because of it.

I will say it again, NDA’s - “Non Disclosure Agreements” they are the unknown in all of this and are most likely the reason a lot of this has remained behind closed doors. They are a cancerous tool of lawyers.

Surely by now everyone recognises the pattern of behaviour from the crows? This isn’t a one off mistake. It’s not the result of a few bad eggs, they’ve rotated these people in and out before and the core issue is always there.

The media in Sa has protected them while painting port Adelaide as some villainous leech

So much so that non-Sa people parody the propaganda without realising it.

For years port fans have had to listen to posters here tell us port gets handouts, when the reality has always been that we are dead set in the middle of the table of the afl teams in terms of payments.

But the Sa media has an agenda.

The same sa media (a card carrying crows fan) that picked up a drunk girls Facebook post and ran with a story that a port player r*ped a girl, which was later proved to not even be remotely true after port asked the police to investigate, and the media didn’t even post a retraction and the reporter didn’t apologise and still works in the media.

At its core the crows have been built on something rotten.

Wake up and stop believing that they’ll change when they sack somebody. The fans can’t be sacked and how they were formed can’t be undone.

Yep I'm not sure if that's the person you want representing. He is a ****ing incapable campaigner and should stick to playing footy for a few more years.

Jenkins right now…

Jenkins suggested that the club signed it on the players behalf's, in which case they'd be worthless.
Probably more to do with players not wanting to rock the boat and risk their future contracts with either the crows or other clubs.

Reflecting on it, I think maybe a representative from each club and then a recent past player as president would be the way to go. People like Peter Bell, Matthew Pavlich and I reckon Dangerfield as well would do a much better job when they're unencumbered with the conflict of being a current player.

The current players need their voice, but I think you need someone who can afford to be militant on certain issues at the head.

Every crows fan is in JJs debt

You did not bear the shame.

You resisted.

You bestowed the eternally vigilant signal to turn back

by sacrificing your impassioned lives for freedom, justice and honour.

Josh Jenkins is a hero

Probably right, I know what is worthless at the minute and that would be shared in the 🤡 show that ran the camp

Agree

Why would any club agree to sign them?

The way I understood it the contractors requested them to do so, it’s truly ******* bizarro world stuff

The poor players had been through more than any other group of players ever have I reckon and then the club decided they needed to be strengthened mentally. It’s sickening to be honest.

Brett Burton’s idea wasn’t it??
Sure but he was there and saw it happening to his players and didn’t do anything to stop it

Even brought the same blokes back to the club for half the season before it became untenable

Hardwick gets called out for having a crack over the fence in a VFL game backing his players. Can’t imagine what his reaction would had have been to what’s been described by Betts and Jenkins
