They played like it was going to be an easier game than GFs usually are. Players took extra steps that weren’t there, looked for handballs that weren’t there.

It’s a shame because every lesser team is going to copy the Richmond style and we’re going to get a tonne of slogs in 2018.

Richmond deserved to win, but I fear for footy if this game style of just relentless tackling pressure becomes the norm.

Problem is we only bothered to play it once this year, R6 vs GWS in a 2 point loss where we kicked ourselves out of it.

I hope we use the men of mayhem method a bit more next season, it's effective but can be energy sapping.
