Unless all the fig trees behind the Hill start dying and the scoreboard gets into a state of disrepair, I can't see them ever building a northern stand.
I think the most realistic option down the track would be to knock down and rebuild the western stand. This stand was designed long before there was consideration to play AFL matches at AO, so only cricket was in mind.
A rebuilt western stand to a similar capacity of the eastern stand would add an extra 5k seats or so.
Not sure why it is the same capacity as Footy Park was.
When footy is bigger than ever in Adealide.
Imagine if the away team members of a showdown could get tickets.
Then there is Crow´s members on waiting lists.
Then there is finals. Ever tried getting a ticket to a finals games at AO. Not easy.
Should of been 60k at least
