Since beating Adelaide in the 2002 prelim final. Collingwood have lost 6 of their last 9 finals at the MCG starting from the 2002GF. I'm more confident we're playing them at the MCG, not at home but it still won't be easy. All their MCG finals wins have been against non victorian teams. This is Neil Craig's long overdue final at the MCG and we'll be a good chance because we like playing in the big games at the MCG.
Their forward line is very good, our backline is nowhere near St Kildas. Our forward line may be a bit under strength against their backline so the game is likely to be won or lost in the midfield. We have a good attacking midfield.
Crows are a chance for sure, and we need to get past our nemesis to progress further.
stats show that our defence is still 3rd or 4th best in the league so this can be considered a strength of ours
I would back our forward structure in against their back line, Presti has had a good year however struggled today and I would be attempting to isolate L Brown in a contest
but I agree it will be one in the misdfield and this is where I believe we hold an edge, I like our depth and the fact players like vince, thompson and macca are in pretty good form against the likes of O'Bree and Johnson who really struggled today
