whats important is the pathetic decision that was made to pay a free to brisbane for that. sure tex had no need to go near him. but theres no way that deserves a free kick, at any time, in any part of the ground.

i was pleased to see tex lay some tackles tonight that wont be looked at by the MRP

Tippett could be defended if he didn't play like this so often.. And actually did something against decent opponents..

A player like Podsiadly could fill his role for a pinch of the cash and probably output more..

That was ****ing deplorable!!! We CANNOT airbrush and fob off this game as just "a bad day". On too many occasions we have been found wanting when the heat is on: the Hawks, Collingwood, Kangaroos and now Brisbane. We were lucky to win against Essendon too, that victory just covered up the cracks. The Lions are an average side. If we were a genuine top 4 side, we would have beaten them comfortably. It's about time we started identifying the passengers and those who make deplorable decisions when the heat is on.

- Knights should never have got a game. Simply isn't good enough anymore and Riley didn't deserve to get dropped for him either.
- Reilly's decision making has always been deplorable when not left to run around by himself all day. The good sides won't afford him that luxury come finals.
- Doughty just adds nothing. Is ok defensively but offers zero attacking drive.
- Callinan needs to be on thin ice too. Doesn't get enough of it. For all his football smarts and skill, he just isn't fast or big enough for AFL. This gets majorly exposed against good sides.
