Back from a short visit to Adelaide and here are my observations:
The Good:
The Bad:
What The...
The Good:
- Adelaide Oval
- The beer - Even though most outsiders can't appreciate quality!

- The city square mile, I haven't seen the city look so good in recent times. The loo (read eyesore) in Vic Square is finally gone.
- Glenelg - Same, except the giant turd is still there.
- John Olsen no longer premier - What goes around comes around.
- Meeting Macca and Dee, you guys rock!
- See above for Blues Girl, but I already knew that

The Bad:
- National Wine Centre - It's already broke! As if no one predicted that! How many people said it was a bad idea?
- Adelaide drivers. They get worse, I think I have been in Perth too long, I let someone in from a side street and got a dirty look for my trouble. It's war out there.
- Rundle Mall - The unhappy faces I saw there is a real worry. No danger of anyone breaking into a smile. I'm sure it's a crime if you did.
- SAFM - Say no more.
- The northern suburbs. Very scary.
- Poker machines - I still can't see how staring blankly at a screen is fun and sociable.
- The Casino - The new look is ugly

What The...
- Bay Sheffield at Adelaide Oval. Huh? I thought it was the BAY Sheffield.
