I can't say I'm happy about that.

I'd much rather play Carlton away and play a stronger team at home. Say swap the Collingwood game to Adelaide and the Carlton game to Melbourne.

It's a conspiracy I tells ya... all these years we've had to play a strong Carlton side on their home patch. Now that they're at their lowest ebb we don't get the easy four points away.

In fact... the first half of our season is a nightmare!

Fixtured amongst Rounds 1-12:

Kangaroos, Richmond, Geelong, Collingwood and Hawthorn away...

Brisbane, Essendon and Port Adelaide at home

Two trips to Subiaco...

That's a tough tough draw. :(

As usual, we've been shafted. Out of our 10 away games we get Subiaco TWICE again, Brisbane, Sydney, York Park, Skilled Stadium.

We actually get to Melbourne only 4 times.

2 MCG

2 Telstra Dome.

As for the 7 teams that we play twice. No Carlton, Bullies or Melbourne there. We only got to play them once last year as well.

I just know that when I get to see the Collingwood program with its special treatment I'm gonna spew again!!

That's a bloody nightmare draw. Not happy Jan!! :(

7-5 would be good with a draw like that. 8-4 would be excellent.

The last 10 games is a good run home if we're still in contention.

We should be able to beat Geelong and Richmond away, though ...

Richmond are due for a good year with a bit of luck with injury and Geelong at Kardinia with their harem of kids who'll be a year older...

Even St. Kilda at home will be tough in that lot...

If we turn 6-6 in those first twelve I'll do handstands...

That's a shocker!

3 out of the 4 games before the first showdown are away.

There isnt two games in a row at AAMI until June.

I agree if we manage 6/6 or 7/5 I'd be happy.

York Park :)

That's one very very tough draw!!

The first half of the year is a nightmare.

5 out of the first 7 games are away (including 1 Showdown).

The second half is a pretty good run home though.

If we only win 6 of our first 12 games I think we'll actually be doing pretty well.

ROUND 7
SATURDAY MAY 8 AEST
Port Adelaide vs Adelaide Crows
AAMI Stadium 6:40 PM ACST

we get a saturday night home game? damn it. I liked the sunday home matches! allows me to take better photos.

It looks legitimate from what I've heard.

I don't understand how the AFL can do things like give Port or crows 3 consecutive away or home games (to finish the season no less), but make sure that Fremantle and West Coast alternate.

At least our members can give the season up after round 19 next year, rather than 22 ;)
