Adopt-a-cat Round 1?

Hey guys, don't think I saw a thread for this, has it fallen by the way side? I know there's a sticky at the top of the section, but that would get very messy if we added to it each round, so maybe we should have a new thread each week.

Anyway, it was great to see Otto back out on the park, was very handy having a big man up forward, if not taking a mark at least providing a contest allowing the ball to spill to the turf in order for our small forwards to pounce.

Was also great to see him take a strong mark out in front go back and slot the goal. He just gives us that extra target up forward, where in the past we would bomb the ball in on Kingsley's head only to be taken straight back out by the defenders, now we have the confidence that getting a quick kick into the forward line will be a big advantage.

My other player, Riccardi, obviously did not play, so... no comment.

Somebody said they didn't want to do it every week, just half way through the season. I don't mind.

My two

Andrew Mackie
Fairly quiet, kicked a nice goal. I'd give him 2.

Shannon Byrnes
Best he's played. While some of his kicking is still dodgy at least it's in the right direction for others to take advantage. Mark over Jonathan Brown and flinging Chris Johnson around like a rag doll, and a nice long goal. I don't expect it to every week.

I'm giving him 8.

Bartel:

Close to BOG, racked up the possessions and kicked a couple of nice goals. Was especially good early.

Callan:

Did he play in the VFL praccy?

Rooke, was, well, Rooke - solid and unspectacular, clocked up 22 possessions, alot for him, and laid a couple of nice tackles.

Harley - Racked up a few wins on the pool table.

Playfair

Looked ok, led well, but all in all he didnt have his best game. Was a target, and kicked 2 goals though. With Ottens in the side, the ball was bombed into a 1 0n 1 contest alot more. Playfair also injured himself and is reportedly out for 1-2 weeks. Id give H a 5/10 for this game

Chapman
Sensational. I thought he was one of our best players by far, but hasnt been mentioned in many peoples best. His pressure in our forward line was sublime, and racked up a decent number of touches, with 3 goals.
