Well, yet again no sign of Warnock and Martin, but one can only assume with the way things are going, they'll fit into this line up schwimmingly!

Brad Miller-Meh, its Miller. Wasn't horrible, can't hit a target but it was good to see a bit of run out of the backline from him.

1. Simon Buckley
Bad day. His decision making is really lacking.
I like his willingness to try and burst a pack, but I think he'd be better off just getting the basics right first.

9. Neitz. Took a few good grabs at the end but his kicking isn't what it used to be and he struggles to get to all of the contests these days. Playing him anywhere other than the goalsquare is silly at his age. Would be lucky to play 22 games if he weren't the captain :( 4/10

28 - Isaac Weetra

Well Isaac let me down again, only picking up two touches I think. Will certainly be fighting to regain his spot next week and a spot on the list next year

2 - Nathan Jones

Great first quarter from the little terrier, got plenty of the football and was tough fighting for the contested ball, felt he sprayed the football a bit when he got it, and often turned it over though, needs to work on his decision making, went out of the game a bit in the last half, but then who didn't from Melbourne, one of Melbournes best.. again.

Green - Picked up plenty, and again little influence on the contest. Really needs to step up as a leader of the club (not that he's in the leadership group) and have an influence. I still feel he'll be more valuable as a lead up forward pocket, half forward.

On a side note, preferred the look of Miller leading up at CHF, we need another target that will straighten us up, rather than heading out to the wings.

Neil Balme - for making a welcome return to the Melbourne coaching box.

ah 94..... how good were those finals vs Carlton first week, and the Bullies 2nd week...

Specially that final vs the Bulldogs, G. Lyon 10 goals on C.Grant to 3 quarter time, (before getting rested the entire final quarter) and Schwarta took like 19 marks (most of the contested) at CHF.

Damn those Eagles in the prelim.....

Clint Bartram
Kept trying all day, did alright but it was only his first game back so should get better as the weeks go on.....

And Wonaeamirri didn't play.

Was in sydney over the weekend, managed to catch a bit of the 3rd quarter, but from all reports Dunny had a fairly average game. Still i'd give him another shot next week.
