The bonus points was more to do with keeping the interest for those lagging behind with minimal TOPlist teams to send out so it works together with the AE comps.. yet can be separated unlike 3XKO that already had had a few PM's ask me to split the comps... we did that initially but JD thought it would help him work the module better to keep it together... not many, if any IIRC, chose a team to WIN and the 3XKO as the opposition team.. that's just silly. Nothing stops one from taking the 1CR as your 3XKO anyway.

The triple whammy is something that crossed my mind BUT I thought of not complicating ENOUGH for poor JD as it is.:D MNF adds it's own mystic about it to wait for the one game otherwise it's just another game for free grabs (no different to bonus points)... only more willy nilly.

I think restricting the teams makes the selection a bit generic. You'd get more of a spread with open slather.

Those that risk on the weaker teams that come good will have a great team in their top list that others can't touch.

You realise you've nibbled on the idea I went with as the 'skill' in choosing the coming out teams then SLAMMED IT because your teams FLOP... can't have it both ways kiddo!

That's the beauty of the NFL.. the parity factor!! That's why I shaped it that way. Anybody can jump on bandwagons willy nilly... why not take it to a 'skill' level where looking deeper into the schedule and depicting the depth of teams to determine their 'coming out' season. I chose KC for that reason, also took StLouis. With Bradford going down now, that's really put a spanner in the works but it's also a blessing in disguise as after a couple BLOW OUT loses, their points spread will look like the Jags meaning a shot at THREE POINTS and maaaaybe four!!

There was an error discovered on the site, saying a team lost a temptation challenge, when it actually won, and didn't award points to a couple people, tho it correctly didn't eliminate them from their toplist. I've fixed that manually below.

I will have to go thru every single week, double-checking every single challenge was determined correctly and points correctly awarded....which i'll do later tonight or tomorrow.

 
I'm pumped for next week. Since the Chiefs and Seahawks decided to be shit, I no longer have to worry about them. Plus with the Broncos on the bye, I've got no one to waste half my week flip-flopping on decisions. Stress free week for me coming up :thumbsu::(

He's just leaving his run a bit later, after we've all revealed our strategies and betting rhythms. BTW, loving swannies record - he's left it late to play a team, but nearly all 10 gone in only two weeks...

That's because he has no idea what he's doing and being laid up in hospital last week crystalised my strategy, blind chance! :D

UPDATE WEEK 10

Woodson has earned this week's bonus kicker (already decided before MNF)

JeffDunne Bigredmachine and Juggalo Balla all eliminated this week

There's an error on the site for Moo
He should have 1 life left with Arizona, but site says he has 0 lives left (on the toplist part of it anyway, but arizona still there for him in the actual selection part).

However, the site had incorrectly given him Green Bay twice. He lost a life with the Packers in week 9, and was still able to use them again in Week 10...tho he got them wrong in week 10 anyway, so no harm).

 
$5 on Woodson winning and someone's excuse being "Well of course you won, you were the only person who understood the rules"
 
woodson got 11 correct tips. so gets the bonus kicker. theres no tie-break possible with anyone getting 11 correct. so he wins the kicker. the kicker is based on correct tips from the CR side of things. if people are tied on correct tips, THEN it goes to highest temptation score that week.
