Yes.
Or the 2nd & 3rd delisted free agent periods. (Nov 14-19 & Nov 28 - Dec 1)

Interesting Mitch Brown has been delisted by Geelong. Would be a good pickup in our last live pick allowing us to pick speed with our first pick.
Where did you hear that? Very interesting if true would love us to throw a massive offer at him!Bontempelli's manager wants to renegotiate his contract after the Boyd signing. Says the difference in wage is unfair considering talent level. He has a fair point!
After hearing what Geelong fans have said (about Brown) is rather give him a miss. Sounds like they tried him as a defender because he failed as a forward. Then failed in defense.

Anyone reckon we have our eyes on a delisted free agent?
Probably more talent in that 'pool' this year than I have seen previously...
They'll both be on the same wage next year (initial draftee wage) - so expect Bonts to get a reasonable packet the year after.Bontempelli's manager wants to renegotiate his contract after the Boyd signing. Says the difference in wage is unfair considering talent level. He has a fair point!
The Crows are keen on Downie if he gets delisted. Maybe as a rookie. Otherwise I think we are keen to draft in for the rest of our spots. Few good options there though.

Every single player is going to want a pay rise after a guy that is yet to fire a shot is raking in a mill a year. Not going to end well.Bonts has already extended his contract and set a wage after his draftee wage years. This is the contract they want to renegotiate.

I probably wouldn't use this as evidence for why you deserve a pay rise. Unless the Bulldogs are bidding for your services and your willing to go.Got half a mind to go in and demand a payrise from the boss on the back of this.
Also, this is my post #4,999 - at an average of nearly 2 posts a day for the last seven years, it's time for an overhaul. New avatar, new attitude. Team focus! Going to make post #5,000 special.
Yes I understand, but what I'm saying is they are both on their 2nd year of their initial draftee contract next year which is a fixed contract determined by the AFL. So next year all will be equal, however 2016 is where the problem begins...and that's 12 months away...a lot of time for players to uproar!Bonts has already extended his contract and set a wage after his draftee wage years. I do agree with your points, however, a full team is something we may never achieve, especially with our luck with injuries. Martin is a perfect player to jump up in time of injury. Re-watch the Brisbane game, that'll win you over.

Which makes signing people like Dangerfield even harder now.
I would rather finish 10th than 12th. If Martin is good enough alone to win us two games, then he's a keeper. Costs us nothing, and after his first consistent year. let's see how he goes under Walsh first. The issue I have is that our list isn't that good. If we have another bad run of injuries - we aren't getting any where near top 4.
Whats the point of Martin coming in as depth if we have a host of injuries? Maybe by using players like Martin we will finish 10th instead of 12th?
Anyone know what is happening with our list manager? I don't expect anything to happen before the draft but anyone got any info?
Remember the wallies on AA saying it was signed, sealed, delivered but we would have to wait until after the draft for the announcement.
We can't keep restructuring contracts forward for 3 years since losing Tippett. It brings more income into one year where the players lose out as in the final year their cash flow is much reduced.
If we need room we can delist next year. In addition, Reilly and Pods and possibly Thompson will come off our books next year.
I'm pretty sure cap space won't be the issue keeping Dangerfield.
Actually it could make it easier for some teams. If more players start demanding max dollars to stay, then teams will have less room in their cap to bring in a big name.... and Cameron![]()
Chris Pelchen just resigned from St Kilda..... Just sayin'
