Nicks said he had an outstanding game in the post match AFL presser

Of course he wasn't actually there to see it and would have had virtually no time to be briefed on the match either
Be handy to know where he played?

Bello didn't even mention him in the report and he was the stand in coach yesterday. If he played forward and played well it would be strange for him not to kick a goal at that level you'd think.

It is strange. I don't believe Nicks for a second and think he was trying to justify the ridiculous selection of Himmelberg over him by saying TT learned his lesson regardless of what he did

I wonder if crows dude ended up attending the game?

He said he might, hopefully he did and can fill us in.

Thilthorpe's game is obviously the one everyone would have interest in, strangely no mention? Let's be honest you would hope he would have dominated at the level.

A few people on twitter who went said that Thilthorpe played very well.

Himmelberg out never to be selected again at AFL level, Murray to replace him up forward, Frampton replaces Murray down back.
this is a no brainer, murray was notice in victoria because of his marking prowess so where do we play him, clueless clowns at this club sometimes.

Couple of nice clunks, hit the post twice for memory, overall not a dominant display. Needs to impose himself more and make things happen, it will come though.

I did hear from someone there that Taylor and Hately were both very good if that helps anyone
I haven't seen anything of Taylor but some in here like him.
Is he a chance? Before Hately?

Is the SANFL showdown televised on the SANFL now app, or channel 7 on Friday?
Opening game for the SANFL season, so should be on the app.

Don't think there's any SANFL on 7 this week cause they're showing both AFLW matches. According to the SANFL fixture Channel 7 aren't televising games until Round 3 with Norwood vs Port.

He's got nice skills. Still a bit lightly framed though. Hately is a big bodied mid, would have thought Schoenberg is more the type of mid that Taylor would be competing with for a spot. I'm pretty doubtful Taylor gets a run in there anytime soon unfortunately. Maybe a taster later in the year.

Taylor looks Ike he has the goods to be a good player. The team needs good disposers regardless of their size. That's why I would also be fast tracking Parnell instead of Jones or Brown. In regards to Hately he doesn't have the necessary kicking ability or speed of football mind to make it at Afl level from what I've seen.

So Nathan Freeman already injured...A/C joint out for at least 2 weeks...

Stepover something here that might interest you.

I don't mind Thilthorpe having a real SANFL if confidence is an issue, especially if he played well last week.

Yeah it will be against the same side, but if he has another good game he will know it was in a real game.

Long term game....
