my unemployment has allowed me to start playing this game

Port have finished Minor premiers without losing a game.

Brendon Lade won the Coleman Medal with 48 goals

Andrew Krakouer won the Brownlow

Josh Mahoney won Ports B&F

Rhet Biglands won the Crows and macca wasn't even in the top 10

yes i am bored and should be doing better things with my time

Is that the one where the commentators call Lade someone elses name?

If so all you need to do is win the ruck, kick around the corner, Tredrea marks on 50 kick the goal and repeat.

I remember kicking ridiculous scores on that thing. Good times. I hope they release another footy game, one that's slightly realistic.

I liked 2004 premiership edition.

I think Chad Cornes must have kicked something like 300 goals over the course of the season.

Josh Francou won the brownlow by a huge margin.

It was just a matter of positioning Francou in the right spot, then tapping it to him, then snapping in forward. Cornes always led to the right spot, and missing a shot at goal was next to impossible.

I've got 2003 (first one), Premiership Edition 2004 and 2007.

Funny because I played it not that long ago for the first time in ages, Brogan won the Brownlow and we won the flag from finishing 8th!

And of course, we beat the Lions in that one as well

Didnt you get a list of jobs to do from mrs mp, Luke?

I remember playing AFL 2006, Wakelin won the Brownlow despite getting bags of 7-8 getting kicked on him during every game

hated how port players names were all mixed up in 04 i still remember most of the mistakes
Tredrea was wilson
P burgoyne was carr
Brogan was borlace
S burgoyne was cassisi

these games were epic failures. eclipsing even lathams attempt at becoming pm to oliver stones alexander.

hopefully they learnt from their mistakes and get the next one better. the graphics already look great but they need to nail the gameplay. nothing worse than streaming into 50 to mark a kick, taking the mark while your 50m in the clear then mashing the hell out of the pad while your guy stops then walks back then comes off his line to play on after the rest of the field has caught up to you. and having every has-been with arthritic old knees taking speccies on your shoulders, sometimes when you arnt even in front of them.

the reason footy is the best sport in the world is the fast flow in it. that anything can happen at anytime and happen so fast. no sport has such a huge range of possibilities, and requires so much from its athletes. so we need the game to be first and foremost free-flowing. get that right and your 90% there. if you can break from a pack, recieve the handball without breaking stride, put it on your boot and hit a player leading up who quickly wheels around bangs it into 50 then you have afl.

oh, and by the way if the stats for players that rate his skills and athletic ability add up to jeff white and daniel bandy being the best players in the game, you probably stuffed up.

hahaha I remember this from 04. If the computer went for a speccy you had no chance, even if they were 4 metres away from the ball.

after a while that was the only goal the computer could get was from those speccies
