"Collingwood gained future second and third-round picks as part of the deal, while the Hawks received Ginnivan as well as future second and fourth-round picks."

i.e basically downgraded a third round pick to a fourth round pick and a few places in the second round for him (assuming Pies stay above us on the ladder, which they will).
