Injury prone or not rojo those guys are near if not already AA players.
Egan- AA defender His Bio: 2007 All-Australian centre half-back. A broken bone in his foot, which he suffered in round 22, 2007, did not heal. The injury required further surgery and his absence was a bitter blow for Egan and the Cats. However, the outlook is that he will make a full recovery in 2009 and his return will be an added bonus.


Ball- A hard in and under midfielder that in a heart beat I would have at the Eagles. He is the Heart of Stkilda. His Bio: The classy midfielder missed only two games in 2006, yet ongoing groin problems affected his progress. This is an indication of Ball’s talent and determination that he still led the team in handballs and tackles. One of the competition’s finest young midfielders, he hit form late in the season, and has committed to the club for another three years. All-Australian 2005
King- Former AA ruckman His Bio: One of the elite ruckmen of his time, King achieved just about everything there was to do over his career. Club captain, two-time best & fairest winner, All Australian and a premiership, achieved in his last game with the club. Was traded to St Kilda following the 2007 grand final win.

Maguire- 1 of the best CHB in the game and still only 25 his Bio: In the mix for the All-Australian centre half-back berth, his season ended with an horrific broken leg against West Coast in round 18. Ever-present until that stage, Maguire distinguished himself with his attack on the ball, strong marks and intelligent reading of the game

Tambling- well maybe not AA but I think his best possy is as a small forward and the Kid has Speed to burn and that X factor.

Is Cox any less of a player because he had a injury, or Banfield, or Glass, or Kerr, Or Judd, Or Joel Selwood Ask yourself that

Being out for 1 year doesn't mean they are Shite it just means they are hungry.

the jury is well and truely out on egan. Probably will never play 1sts again.
The point is that injured players, particularlyly ones with repeat injuries, never get to prove themselves as much as others. Injuries can reduce ability aswell. For instance, luke ball wouldn't be near the top 10 mids in the league, although he is very talented.

You can have Both look at Adam Goodes Speed and Skill and 2 Brownlows and a premiership medal.
I like a speedy mid like Judd compared to a ball magnet like Black.
I prefur a player that breaks lines, Chases opponents down and splits the Midfield rather then a player that sits out the back of contests getting cheap numbers.
