Ball is a DT gun.

Will average 95-100.

Don't write a player off from one game.
Ball is crap in DT. Judd-like.

Haven't given up just thinking of what I missed out on already ;) I nearly made him captain too

i went for depth as opposed to banking on higher players that will no doubt go down in value

Care to highlight where my deficiencies are?

Well, in your starting 22, you have -

FRENCH, Barnaby
MAHONEY, Josh
SADDINGTON, Jason

These guys will be lucky to get more than 40 points.

Adcock & Solomon have injury clouds. You've got a lot of mediocrity in the side and I'll be surprised if you get more than 5 players getting 100 points.
It's ok being arrogant, but you've got to back it up matey.

I heard Cox was injured, Don. Although I think it wasn't anything more serious than a strain, didn't sound like it would keep him out for round 2. No wonder considering his first half!

French is actually pretty good. Will average 70+

Hopefully Gram. :p

That's a great question, and was the sole reason I convinced myself to not include Gram in my original lineup. Considering his preseason form and his performance last night, I can't see the Saints dropping Gram even once the Clarkes return.

Any Saints fans got any opinion on this?

hmmm yes thats why i have won 42 games and lost 2 in my league.
If you havent noticed everyone has week links in their side, because the salary cap has been reduced. Also i have more depth than most people
ie/ Brogan, motlop and waters on the bench

i will destroy you for your comments gimp

Is my side any good?

Joel Bowden
Adam McPhee
Robert Murphy
David Wirrpunda
Matthew Lappin
Matthew Egan
Ben Fixter

Simon Goodwin
Brett Deledio
Michael Rischitelli
Steven Salopek

Troy Simmonds
Jamie Charman
Dean Brogan
Josh Fraser

Barry Hall (c)
Matthew Pavlich
Nick Riewoldt
Paul Chapman
Chris Tarrant
Domenic Cassisi
Daniel Motlop

????

Since Round 1 has started I'll name my team:

BOWDEN, Joel
MCPHEE, Adam
MURPHY, Robert
BATEMAN, Chance
JOHNSON, Ben
MCVEIGH, Mark
WATERS, Beau

MITCHELL, Sam
STANTON, Brent
GRAM, Jason
KNIGHTS, Chris

MOONEY, Cameron
JOLLY, Darren
BROGAN, Dean
FRASER, Josh

HALL, Barry (C)
RIEWOLDT, Nick
BROWN, Jonathan
TARRANT, Chris
MEDHURST, Paul
WATSON, Jobe
MOTLOP, Daniel

Since a lot of people were able to abuse the glitch by putting Cox as Captain, I hope Hall makes 200 lol Hes got a really good record against Ess. He made like 130 and 110ish while he was myopic last year! After having laser eye surgery, I hope he runs a muck on Sat and that Dustin Fletcher cant hold him down. But then again its down to luck I guess... The way I picked my team was to try to have balance exactly like the old "premium" "non-premium" system long ago. Ill prob keep all my "premium" players for the whole season and will try to trade the guys who go up for cash.. Ive got around 65k on hand to pick up any cheap guns between rounds 1-3 before they go up in price.

My first time doing the DT on afl.com.au I ended up doing a few changes in the closing stages before lockout. Can;t say i'm 100% happy about the squad, but you get that. :p

MURPHY, Robert
MCMAHON, Jordan
JOHNCOCK, Graham
GODDARD, Brendon
ROUGHEAD, Jarryd
WATERS, Beau
FIXTER, Ben

DAL SANTO, Nick (c)
COUGHLAN, Mark
JUDD, Chris
SCHAMMER, Byron

BROGAN, Dean
FRASER, Josh
CHAMBERS, Paul
JAMAR, Mark

AKERMANIS, Jason
BRUCE, Cameron
GRANT, Shannon
LLOYD, Matthew
TARRANT, Chris
CASSISI, Domenic
GUERRA, Brent

Being my first season, i have no idea who averaged what last season, but i got a few tips by reading the thread on what youngsters to pick who could have an impact this season.
