I reckon it's not worth it. May not come back for a long time it seems and even if he does, won't be playing the same role it seems.

In some strife as I have Lovett-Murray & Bowden in my backline. Want to see if Lovett Murray is named but going out to see the game so not an option.

Should I go Bowden -> Birchall / Goddard /McPhee or Lovett-Murray up to Symes / Gilbee / Johncock.

The 2nd one seems very sideways but can't afford another 0.

Alternatively, I could go use 2 trades and go:
Bowden -> Birchall / Goddard /McPhee
Lovett -> Murray -> Birchall / Goddard /McPhee

Have 18 trades left.

Problem for me is that I honestly can't see anyone worth bringing in for him this week. I already have Cornes and Shaw and Milburn (the only other back i think is worth bringing in for Bowden) has a BE of 134.
I guess I'm happy to just take a 40-60 from my reserve this week and wait on it. I might lose out 40 odd points but at least I get to see the other back options in action for another week. Most of them are going to drop anyway.

From all report NLM is in for Alwyn Davey.

My team (16 trades left, $172,800 in bank):
(B) C.Cornes, H.Shaw, Symes, Milburn, Gram, Taylor, Wonnaeamirri (Spangher, Proud)
(C) Ablett, Cross, K.Cornes, Stevens, Houli, N.Jones (Palmer, Bird)
(R) Cox, Simmonds (Kruezer, West)
(F) Medhurst, Porplyzia, Pavlich, Deledio, Hill, Rioli, J.Brown (Tippett, Gamble)

Game plan:
* Upgrade some of the defence some time in the future when the cash cows mature
* Upgrade Houli, N.Jones - downgrade Bird
* Upgrade forwards to Chapman, Riewoldt, B.Johnson (if he comes right)

The dilemma - options for this week:
Upgrade N. Jones to Mitchell - will cost about $87,500. The transfer price probably won't be much different next week. Is Mitchell worth it or do I just wait for Swan or Corey who's price will dip a bit in the coming weeks, since Stevens probably is my 6th midfielder it might be best to go for a gun? Does Mitchell class as a almost gun and therefore better to wait?

Upgrade Hill to Riewoldt - will cost $148,600. Probably the only option for a forward upgrade at the moment. Deledio is probably worth keeping - at least for now. Gamble will probably be an easy trade to B.Johnson in a month which would leave Medhurst or Deledio to Chapman.

Which is the best option - or is there something else I am missing?

P.S. I do plan on possibly getting Armitage for Bird - assuming Armitage is still goes ok this week and gets picked for 3rd game and maybe Tippett to Valenti (assuming upgraded and plays 3 in the mid future). Looking at Gilbee when he bottoms out, but will eventaully have to trade up a couple of the cheaper backs.

I need 2 of these blokes to start on the field this week

Which 2 would pick:thumbsu: Rioli, Gamble, Hartlett, Tippet:confused:

Another quick question. i am stuffed because i only have 12 trades left:(

If you really can't afford to get another 0 then it has be bringing a keeper. So therefore getting rid of Bowden.
A double trade to bring in two backline keepers could be ok too i think.

So Bowden confirmed out? I have cover this week so I hopefully will lose only 50 points max and I believe he can average 90 when he comes back.

C'mon guys, please help me out:

Who to start? Gibbs v Adelaide or Palmer v Geelong?

Is there any chance Ling will go to Palmer? Which Docker does Lingy normally go to?

Not confirmed as far as I know but all the whispers are that he's out. I'm just hoping along with you :thumbsu:

Tough one that. On the one hand Palmer is possibly against Ling and Geelong - on the other Gibbs coming back from an injury, so the risk is he might miss out again. I would probably go Gibbs with Palmer as an Emergency.

So i haven't been reading this thread all that intently this week, just got one query, sozza if it has already been discussed. By the amount of posts on the Round 6 Trades thread, it appears a lot of people are trading this week. I have three under-performing players in Q Lynch, T Cloke and D Solomon, yet i dont think im trading this week. Ive assessed all options, and with the money i have in the bank (approximately 30 000) i just cant see any options. Obviously the main idea would be to upgrade those three players to premiums and none are available. Cash Cows appear limited this week as ive missed the boat with Wonoman and Masten. So what im pretty much saying is, is anyone else feeling the same as me? That this week just isn't the right time for upgrades? I guess a lot of it come downs to how much cash you have already. Theres my pointless ramble for the day.

Leaving Stevens on the pine:eek: i know.

But i think Dyson will have a good game as he seems to do every 2nd game. Palmer wont get tagged and i have a feeling Stevens will get shut down!

Ive had my own plan last two years.Its been use my trades early and upgrade early. i have 11 trades left. Ive done tactical changes to step up my year.I do different to most people and trade early and upgrade early.Ive got about 4 -7 more upgardes and downgardes in Barlow,Rioli,Dyson,Bird,Stevens.Syvia Dyson My trades have been resonible except 1 trade were you can say two sideways

Out Kosi in Simmonds
