still fairly new to dream team so any advice for further years on my trades so far...

rd2 - out reilly(inj), in dempsey, out mcintosh, in cox

rd3 - out mclean in murphy, out cloke in stokes

rd4 - out dyson in corey

rd5 - out hall in deledio, out jones in kornes

Didn't Dempsey get injured in round 2?...if so i would give you the biggest tip of all. Wait until thursday/friday night for the team sheets and them make your trades. Muprhy has been super so far this year, averaging 100+ and is in the top 10 overall. Stokes has been great value for money. The other trades sort of speak for themselves. Very hard to judge without seeing the rest of your team, but apart from Dempsey all the players coming in are possible keepers. :thumbsu:

for those who don't care about consistancy as long as their overall avg is good might want to start caring. one bad week in the eliminator in a few rounds time and your in trouble. consistancy is everything in the eliminator.

S.Browne

T.Simmonds
H.Mcintosh - Will look to uprgrade to Ottens around round 15-17

Cameron Bruce is a DT gun at his best, but we haven't seen that for quite some time. He looks like he's running into some sort of form with a good score on the weekend and his price is very tempting. But playing in such a woeful side will this stear people clear of him? Averaged 101.2 in 06 and still managed to average 96 last year from 16 games and no doubt was playing with injuries.

Last 4 scores
83, 82, 94 and 133

Break even of 37 this week means if you want him now is the time to swoop.

I think I'm gonna get him in for Dyson, and Hartlett out for Ibbotson...

good analysis and it's good of you to point him out but people should really go with a more safer option...

The only reason i would consider it unsafe is because of how badly Melbourne are at the moment. If they were playing okay and had a couple of wins he would be much more appealing.

Simmonds - Avg of 82
McIntosh - Avg of 72

;)

The big H-Mac will come good Don, he will become very good from here on in I am confident, but he hasn't been performing to what I have expected so far obviously, but I know he can produce some big scores, so I'll ride the some-what bumpy wave...:D

Favourite Dream Teamer of all time, was just un-gettable at the start of this year. Its a good point you bring up though, definitely time to swoop. I think i'm going to have to pass but he is definitely one to consider, still very cheap considering his potential and plus, if you're looking for that X-factor, he could well be your man.

Yep. I didn't realise he was at 350k last week either he is probably worth around 420 - 430k at best.

Who is the best value Premium back at the moment? Looking at
Gilbee ($303,400), Goddard ($330,000), S.Fisher ($326,800) P.Burgoyne ($349,700) and Milburn ($310,500).

For some reason I'm leaning towards Sam Fisher. Am I crazy? Was $371,500 at the start of the season. Has his role changed? Is the Goddard inclusion costing him points?

I fell for that as well...

However there is a silver lining, Hamish should improve after the break as has been affected by an injury, his tog has reflected. For someone who has been playing 55-60% as opposed to 80+% last year, his average is not too bad, amongst the top few for points per minutes.

The extra money from picking Simmonds would have been good, but I think I would have spent that on getting Brad Johnson from the start, so maybe its a good thing.;)

God damn you The Egg! Haha, now i'm so keen to get my beloved Bruce back. Its hard to let get go once you get so attached. If i trade off Tippet to Valenti i could afford him for Houli. Such rash thinking.

I got Hamish ahead of Simmo as well (he is my fav player - should've went with my head instead).

He hasn't got the tank to get as much TOG as Simmo or Cox - he is always exhausted coming off the ground. He seemed to have a bigger tank last year and he does have a foot injury so I'm confident his scores will improve.

Jed Adc*ck is another midfielder that is underpriced imo, hasn't really pushed on from last year, which was expected, though at a price of $326,800 he looks like a nice option...If he can get back into career best form he could be a good option indeed...
