lol, ball just got stuck in the air in the goal square at about chest height.
Players are repeatedly running through trying to get it.
Now the siren went and the game won't continue.

First hour or two I liked it but now it's starting to feel like live 2 remastered week 1 patch needs to be put out asap hoping it's just cause the gae was released early that it still has bugs but idk if that is the fact cause we did have that update

The game looks good so far. People have to remember footy games are hard to create because of the many movements and possibilities that can happen inside just one game. Soccer, on the other hand is easy because it is just passing and shooting (and a few other options). It is on a rectangle field, easier to create. For the low budget they had to work with, they have created a brilliant AFL game.

Yes, fixes are needed but they should be coming soon. It was released a day early and people are writing negative reviews. Not every game is perfect, and it didn't have the budget of FIFA/EA

I kicked 2.1 in the opening couple of minutes and then was benched, and all of a sudden the game was over.

if anyone wants a tip for kick outs, u just play on and run at one of the pockets, it causes an AI player to run at you and your team mate runs into space, then causes over lap and goals for days.

Don't play Be A Pro on Legend difficulty. Just because it becomes a marking and tackling fest.

I was playing on Tuohy, who ended up with 70 disposals and 42 marks.

I got player of the game though, with 63 disposals, 37 marks, and 8 tackles, and 4 goals.

Picked it up just now from EB Werribee Plaza and the girl serving me asked without me even prompting her "would you like to price match it at $79?"
so those having no luck getting it price matched must just have aholes that work at their local EB.

Plus why did she even bother asking me? What idiot is going to say "no, I'd love to pay $20 extra, nick off with your price matching shenanigans" ?

Yeah, mine in the Elizabeth St store made a big point when I asked if they were matching JB of saying "Normally we'd check the offer on a customers phone but I've seen it so many times today".

He looked buggered though so I don't think they were expecting a rush of business today.

That would have nothing to do with it. It was half a day's difference. Unless they have a patch scheduled for the fifth which fixes issues, but why wouldn't that be included in the initial patch?

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where their name is "Censored" on be a pro? Apparently both of my brothers are suffering this bug, I however am not.

I had this problem while the patch was downloading. After that was installed it was fine but I had to start a new career.

I'm not sure if anyone ever played the PES games on the Wii, but that control scheme is seriously the only way to make a proper Aussie Rules game, because it's the only way to have control over more than the ball handler without relying entirely on terrible AI.

Essentially you'd control the ball handler with the analogue stick and use a cursor to direct other players around the field. It was a paradigm shift because instead of focusing on individual player movement, your success depended on how well you could maneuver three or four players at a time.

Imagine streaming down a wing and being able to direct your other forwards to clear space in the 50 so you could direct Buddy on a lead into that space (sure as heck doesn't happy in real life). Or directing your half back across the field so you can switch.

Even with the crappy 2004 graphics I preferred those PES Wii games over FIFA on my PS3. They were almost like Sports RTS games. Which really is what an Australian Rules game needs to be.

Unfortunately we'll never, ever get this game unless I win a few hundred million in the lotto and fund it myself so I'll keep dreaming.

Ok, this game has a lot going for it.

It's not a tackle fest, Im missing shots, Ive strung together some nice plays. There are some rough edges, but Im keen to see how much better it gets with realistic player edits.

North fans will find it very realistic early on.

I'm sure they'll see plenty of feedback on FB.

The various flaws in the game they're unlikely to fix. The bugs/unintended gameplay problems should be patched, and I hope they get on that pretty quickly.

You can dismiss any opinion that states "its shit". It's not. It some strengths and weaknesses. It definitely has a football feel for me.

That's a pretty good idea. There seems to be a few bugs that need fixing.
