I'd agree, It's highly unlikely they rescanned for the mobile version when they already had the assets.

It's a long time coming if that wasn't for the 2015 update.
I find it extremely hard to believe that they would go to all that trouble for such a small detail
Mobile games alone won't get that kind of attention to detail

It's pure speculation. It could have been added in with the thought that they'd use it for future titles.
So is this still the new game? Wasn't their one everyone boycotted? The developers sold the rights to someone else and now this is it?
