First impressions of the game after playing two matches:
Pros:
- Game seems to be a big step up from AFL Live 2
- General gameplay and player animations are much smoother
- Graphics are much more detailed than AFL Live 2 (i.e many of the players look like their real-world counterparts)
- Ball physics have been fixed (i.e no more of the ball bouncing to the left/right so much after it lands)
Cons:
- Commentary is robotic and sentences do not flow well
- Marking is abit harder to get used to compared to previous AFL games
- Some names being mispronounced like Jaeger O'Meara being pronounced as O'Mara
This impression is based off playing the game without the Day 1 patch. It seems fun although I'll have to play more of the game (especially with the Day1 patch applied) to judge whether or not this fun remains
