Yeah the 360 allows you to play your own music in any game but i'm just wondering what they'll have

Yeh but if you use the music that way, it will play over all the other sounds in the game won't it? ie. it would still be playing music while you are playing a match and not just in the menu.

In NHL 10 there is an option in the game menu to use music from the hard drive as menu music or in game music. It even goes into specifics of which song you want after a goal, after a stoppage, at the end of a game and at the start of a game. I know this isn't relevant to an AFL game as we don't have music in our sport after goals etc. like the American's do in their sports but a simple option enabling the player to switch between the game soundtrack and music from their hard drive for the menu music would be good.

I may be wrong and there may be a way to do this with all games, but I am unaware of it...

Just putting it out there, I'd love for there to be a Coach Mode (much like Manager Mode in Fifa) where you can see updates from media outlets like newspapers. Just so it feels like there's a life outside the actual match you're playing.

Also, a list of the medallions and premierships you've won. Just so you can look back and see what you've achieved.

Yeah that's a good idea would be nice to have.. much like NBA 2K10 also. Would still be nice even if it just let us choose the tracks/playlists from just the game's soundtrack.

IF there is a franchise type mode, how would the players be progressed? Will it be similar to FIFA's development system, with XP eventually building up during a season with gametime? or would it be like Madden, with a locked potential rating determining the growth of players?

Also, only one poster has mentioned this so far I believe, which probably shows it's distinctive lack of popularity with most gamers, and that is the 'Be a Pro' mode which has been incorporated into a lot of sports titles as of late. I am sure you know what this is and I just wanted to say that I have been having a blast with this game mode in NHL 10, NBA 2K10 and FIFA World Cup South Africa (Captain your Country instead). Even if you couldn't create your own player to be in this mode, I can't even begin to describe how good it would be if I was able to be Buddy for a full game and Buddy only.

It's been mentioned PLENTY of times before. But I don't think anybody expected BigAnt to be trying it out. But...

The replays have the clarity of the snippets you've seen.

Be a pro won't be in this iteration but we have a design for it and plans to get it in a later release.

Wow, I mean I guess to keep up with the best you have to emulate them too but I didn't expect a Be A Pro like mode to come in. But it's fantastic to see that there is a future plan. Can't wait to see what details there'll be about this in the future. Would be epic.

A slightly obscure question but something that since it's been stated that the game will lead developmentally on the PS3 I have wondered. Have you implemented a youtube upload feature for replays (if they could be saved in the first place)? Since this is a feature that is available to be used on the PS3, but many games strangely don't include is there a plan to bring this in at all (even for future versions)?

Just Cause 2, Gran Turismo 5 and Uncharted 2 are really the only games I can think of that use the feature but I reckon it's something that would be awesome to bring in especially with everybody being in love with YouTube and could just see an entire thread dedicated to it on here for uploading of the vids.

How many players and who?

Ablett, Judd, Franklin, Riewoldt and Brown are the big 5 imo, so probably from them. Then there are the marketable guys like Rioli, Thomas and NicNat but I don't think they should be cover stars. It's like when FIFA put Walcott on their cover.

The elite of the game should be on the cover, and when I think of elite, I think of Ablett, Brown and Judd.

With sports games, I think that it just looks messy if there's so many things to look at on the front cover.

On the other hand, there's a bit more appeal to every team's supporters.

Edited for accuracy. The eye toy allowed you to put your face on a player and play as yourself.
