On the topic on bounces, will they always be straight or will they have to rebounce sometimes?
not that it really matters..

The bounce is perfectly straight... but the height will vary.

Gold Coast - yes!

I take that in, there will be Gold Coast. Yahoo :)
By the way, you don't have to respond to everybody. We all appreciate your work, and if some spoilt pricks abuse you, whatever, the best way to go about them is ignoring them.

In saying that, will there be like a pre season mode. If there is a career mode, will it be a bit like FF where you choose where to train them, and how they will improve, or will they improve automatically. Also, will you be able to choose your own pre season, training routines. What would be awesome if you can choose where to go on your trip end of year, according to your cap. Can you imagine watching your list doing laps around the Taj Mahal:p.

(Don't feel obliged to answer these questions)

west sydney aint gonna join the league till 2012 they shouldnt be on this version

Please dont tell me that the goal umpires will have a flat hand when they point for a goal? in the earlier games their would be no finger pointing just a flat hand which was pretty bad. Also will speckys be in the game?

But Sydney played in Blacktown in the NAB cup the stadium must be there...

If not is the West Sydney team on it.

It is very irritating putting his name in bold in order to attract attention. If BAS feels as if your question is worth a response, he will respond. If he doesn't, tough shits. Stop being an attention seeker.

I apologise for making you sound like Jesus BAS :p

How would that be possible? They don't have a jumper, a moniker or players.

Seriously doubt that, unless we're waiting for a 2011 release. If they were to incorporate GC in they'd need to alter the season mode (the fixtures aren't even decided on yet, as in how many rounds etc), they'd have to model at least 45ish new players, give them attributes in between November and March, not to mention all the other draftees, and just too much would need to be changed. Also for that to work, IMO they'd have to have the career mode in the game (if there is one) to add in GWS in 2012 by itself, because it can't go season after season with 17 teams.

So no, I can bet you almost anything that GCS won't be in it, unless the game is delayed past their current target date (they've mentioned they have one in mind).

I feel too much work on this game has been done for it to be released next year as they have already created player models ratings etc, if gold coast and stuff is added maybe just dlc and a new game in 2012 for gws

Sounds spot on to me, with all the work they have put into the game and modeling players and now that Ross has come on here and given us some news about what is in the game, and has taken in some feedback from here, and has said that pretty much the game is complete they are just tweaking things, and they have said 2010 on their website why would it be any different, I mean why would he post on here getting the interest up if the game was still 6 months away from release, would make more sense to keep quite until it was closer to that time.

Reading between the lines it sounds as though the press release won't be to far off, with the game possibly coming out sometime in September? and they are working on other things like how to support the game after release in terms of squad updates etc.

The Gold Coast side may already be included? but with the VFL list it has at the moment? more than likely the club is not included but the stadium is, and that the GCS could be added via down loadable content later on.

That's true. Ross has come out to a forum and given info on the game. I don't think there is any other website(correct me here)that has the amount of knowledge on the game as we do(except for BigAnt)
As it sounds, it shouldn't be too far away, therefore a press release in the next couple of weeks(if it is to be released this year)

They can make updates for you to download on your system to upload lists/new teams etc.

I would hope that by the time West Sydney are in we would be certainly talking about the second iteration of the game - they won't be in this one.

Players

Don't believe me here's the link

http://www.sportingpulse.com/team_info.cgi?c=1-3020-96441-102897-11683795&a=PLAYERS

And the players singned for the opening of the GWS to the AFL

Oh and just a gameplay question - Will the marks be suitable? By that I mean like when a player is coming out on a lead, I have been able to mark it from the back. Also when the ball is coming right at them and they are free, they take the make where they bend down and take it right before it touches the floor.
Cheers:thumbsu:
