Tru Blu are geniuses. Look how much talk they have going about this game without spending a dime on advertisement. They have given very little and gotten alot in return. Even if alot of that talk is bad people are still talking. Now no one knows what the gameplay is going to be like and we have a few screenshots so what does that mean? when the game is released everyone will go to their local ebgames or wherever they buy their games and look at it, the more people that look at it the more people are likely to pick it up. just a thought anyway, wouldnt be the first time a publisher has used this type of tactic to increase sales on release, specially when the game has been low budget.
Wait so lets see
- Having people on a forum trashing a game that hasnt even come out yet is good publicity ?
- Bigfooty users would be lucky to make up 10% of the total people that would buy the Afl live game. Meaning that 90% of the general target public have no idea a new game is coming out. Genius marketing indeed
- If you are seriously going to run into EB games and buy this game on launch day because of a handful of screenshots, then you are seriously dumb. Most people want to see a trailer or read gameplay reviews (post launch) before deciding whether or not to buy this $100 game (especially given GTA V comes out a few days later)
- "The More people that look at it, the more people are likely to pick it up". Rubbish statement which means nothing
- You are right its not the first time this tactic has been used on an game. Wicked Witch did the same thing for the Wii game, and we all know how that ended up
Try not to be soo stupid next time thanks
