As long as the draft puts random generated players who actually progress and can become good players and just isn't filled with delistees.

Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
There is a game coming out you know. You can put in your console and play AFL. It will work. It mightn't be amazing, but I'm gonna hold out judgement until it's actually released.
We live in a much too critical society today.
Fair point!

A couple of screenshots with the announcement would have been nice.
Wont buy.
Probably rent though.
It seems as if they have added in a lot of things that people wanted. The Career mode is great. Would have liked for it to have been more than 15 years but can't complain too much as they have actually included one. Really excited for this.![]()
I'll reserve my opinion until I see and play the game. I will say however that given Big Ant's latest games and their first attempt at an AFL game that I'm extremely disappointed that they are not involved in the sequel. Also given that all previous big ant technologies are not going to be present in this game makes me concerned about the game as I thought Big Ant had built a really solid platform to build upon.
Ross, are you able to elaborate on why you were unable to come to agreement with all parties on developing the second version? Also, hypothetically if this game is underwhelming and sales suffer as a result what does that mean for the future of the game?
AFL Challenge was bad, but I've read that the wii version of AFL wasn't a total disaster... what's it actually like?
The sad thing is you stick an afl licence on almost any game and it will sell regardless of quality. Challenge and Wii are examples of this and it seems tru blu couldn't give a toss about quality. Let's give this game a chance and when it's out and if it's bad we'll let our voices be heard. Unfortunately I don't expect tru blu or these mysterious devs to show up here and unless we go on tru blu's fb page and kiss their ass they will probably ignore us.It's a good idea to wait and see. I haven't seen the game myself so it's not possible for me to comment on the game. I will do so as objectively as I can, if it's possible for me to be objective, when that time comes.
It's all about timing and money, they didn't align, that's all I can say at the moment. I do also believe we built a very strong base, that base has been added to with RLL2, Cricket Academy (player sharing) and Cricket14. Our technology has come a long way since AFL Live and if I had an opportunity to make another game I would certainly grab it with both hands.
Gonna stay away from the negativity, and actually gonna have some hope in this game unlike everyone else. By the looks of the photoshoot they did with hawthorn, I'd say a lot of the more well known players would be pretty spot on graphical wise whereas others will just be close. Gameplay wise even if it is wicked witch I'm sure they copped a crap load of criticism, so they would've made it a lot better this time around; especially bringing it onto the xbox 360 and ps3 is a big jump from the wii
I had that argument with a lot of people. They thought the Wii one was better simply because it had more teams/longer career. That didn't affect me because I didn't even make it through a season on it anyway before I canned it because the gameplay was so horrid. Controls were terrible, animations were stiff and their idea of bumping up the difficulty was making it so your best players can only kick 30m while theirs can kick 70.I like your positivity rozza but I feel wicked witch wouldn't have copped too much criticism as Wii had features and teams that big ant didn't and there are some people that just drool over that even if gameplay is below par. Knowing tru blu they would have given WW a rubbish budget just to make a profit.( Sorry about the negativity but I feel as though AFL live 2 will be the ashes cricket 2013 of AFL games)
C'mon Ross, just make another account so you can unload and tell us what you really think about this whole situation.![]()
I think people need to understand that when wicked witch made the wii version they went for a very arcadey gameplay style compared to simulation. i would think being in charge of the second one on the 360 and ps3 they would have realized that it needs to be a lot more like a simulation gameplay following up from the first game. The features are there if they have really listened to what people had to say about the first afl live on ps3 and 360 and tried to replicate a similar gameplay style cause they know people liked it then it could turn out to be decent. we cant just attack them, when them without seeing what they have to offer on the 360 and ps3 compared to the wii which is a completely different system. The wii is way more a family console for kids when it comes to sport games this is completely different to the 360 and ps3 they should understand this
The problem wasn't that the game was arcadey.New
This is pretty much what I was trying to get at wicked witch's version was an arcade style which is perfect for wii but now that they are bringing it over to xbox and ps itll be similar to bigants gameplay just with wicked which features upgraded a little bit
