Who cares if it's shit, it is the only AFL out there. AFL 2007 was horrible but I still bought it.

Why would a low price make you second guess buying it? With low hopes of this game... that's about the only thing that would swing me towards buying it.
I think the way it works is you get to add a player who develops in your side while you manage the team and do all the coaching aspects.

After reading the manual I've gained a bit of hope for this game now. It all comes down to the gameplay. I will easily get this release day now seeing I've lost interest in the GTA series after IV.
i agree about the game play the goal kicking seems like something to look forward to if implemented right. Im looking forward to seeing the marking in action too though. On a side note i dont agree with you on GTA at all aahahha especially after that online trailer its going to be insane.

Low price basically means they are either admitting it's low quality, or that they had a very low budget for the game and don't need to sell at a high price to profit. Either way, it won't be good. I've gone from having very little hope to basically none at all. Having said that, I will still be buying it.

I think the price indicates the competition it faces in September as much as anything. There is a huge slate of titles coming. The current-gen console market is declining as we approach next-gen and people gear up to pay for that.
So you think the stores set the price low despite high production costs? If that was the case, and I'm not saying it isn't, but what do the stores gain from stocking a title that has to have such a low price to compete when they could just sell the games it is competing with and make more profit?

I like the option of selecting my team and then letting " my " computer team play the " computers " team.
Making interchanges etc myself
Sadly on the last game ,i'd go to bench a midfielder and the game would override my selection and bring on the 2nd ruckman to play as a rover....
I reeeeeally hope this has been rectified because i took the last game back the same day i got it , would hate to do the same again.
