Personally I will always be interested in making AFL games, always, if there is ever an opportunity then you know I'll be there.

As a fan of the real game, I like you, wait with baited breath for this game and hope that it is good. I think the kicking for goal certainly looks interesting.

EBIAC - we didn't supply any code so it won't be a mesh of our game and theirs, although given the screenshots I expect some of the elements we had might have been emulated. PS: Go Blues! We always get to beat the Tige's two times every season - it's just the way it is :)

That was actually going to be my next question. How much of AFL live can Tru blu/WW copy for their game? Are there copyright laws that apply in this situation or could they theoretically make an identical game with updated lists?

I'm quietly hoping Collingwood take 5th spot so we get Port in Melbourne!!
 
There's no real copyright issue as it's not the code itself.

Every tiger supporter is, you should be shouting for Carlton to or you'll be playing North at Etihad! :)

So you've already got AFL Live 2 then.... can't believe they let North win the flag... totally unrealistic... cancelling preorder.
 
I remember the times when I was happy to see that BigAntStudios had posted something.

Well according to the EB Games site, AFL Live 2 is 2nd on the list of "Hot right now", so I guess their lack of promoting is actually working somehow.

Stealth marketing approach or not, a quick look at the TB and AFL Live 2 (the official one) Facebook pages show more than a few cranky punters wanting a trailer and telling TB to shut up altogether unless they have a trailer. At least one bloke (on the unofficial fan page) still thinks BA is the developer too; apparently this lack of pre-release promo material is "classic big ant studios hahahahhahaha".

Hmmyes.

there has to be a trailer tomorrow there has to. i havent flipped yet but i will if there isnt they bloody well made an instagram page for pete sake why i say why. its just getting ridiculous.
 
They make all these posts on their Facebook Page and not once do they reply to people. Great way to turn people off it.

If the lack of details on a video game is actually going to have any effect on you other than a quick "Oh that's kind of annoying" then I pity you.

When I refer to flip i mean switch to the side of expect nothing from this game. But it is just a very annoying marketing campaign and it confuses me as to why they make stuff like an Instagram page and don't put any new information on there.

that and the facebook page aren't official pages
 
I would love to have an AFL game on the same level of quality of FIFA 13.
Probably won't happen for awhile, it would be good if EA Sports would make one.

I'm hoping the gameplay is much better this time.
I found the previous versions to be almost unplayable.
