just double checked. its in the patch notes in the FAQ
· Season mode will progress without need to simulate AI games first.
· Increased difficulty when playing legend
· Decrease injury count
· Matchmaking based on player skill, number of players, and reliability
· Allow modified teams online
· Salary Cap changed to 6.5Million for starting 22 (same as current Collingwood cap)
· Anti-Rage code awards a win if 18 points have been scored or a minimum time has been reached (time is a random time from 0 to 4 minutes).
· Add players met functionality to PSN
· Show PSN/XBLA ID prior to game selection
· Save team lineup selections for online play
· Save controller settings online (ie manual player select)
· Only show Mike if microphone is attached
· Reliability loss due to quitters/loss of connection will be fixed and previous loss due to this will be restored.
· Display best streak in leaderboard
· PS3 issue when controller goes to sleep
· Ball up/throw in – punch through goals/behind to award free kick
· Ball up/throw in – punch out of bounds to award free kick
· PStewart and DStewart stats reversed
· Jeff Darling => Jack Darling
There are other items but to announce them would alert people to potential online exploits.

Damn, almost beat Quiviror! Was a very epic and close match. I was up early but then he scored 7 or 8 goals in a row to get up to four goals ahead. Then came back within a goal but missed two chances to take the lead

I've finally been able to get stuck into this online over the past few days.
The amount of tackles my opponent has, depends on how quick and clean I am with the ball. Same Vice Versa.
Why do I always seem to vs people way below me on the leaderboard?
One of the only times I've versed someone way above me caused to wonder how handicap works.
It was 2 against me. They were Collingwood, I was Gold Coast. I lost by about 70-30. The person had about 5x the xp of me.
All this but I only get 125xp

Does having a low reliability rating make you gain less exp after wins? Mine is stuck on "Avoid (0)" and I've never quit a match (even though I've been on the recieving end of a couple of thrashings).

Generally it's about watching the ball up and seeing how many players move about differently than they would against AI.
I could see 2 of them moving around at the centre bounces and obviously there has to be one doing the ruck...so 3.
3 goal margin...random time that BigAnt won't let out as it would defeat the purpose (and see people quit before then, likely, unless it's always randomised).

Ok just been playing my first few online matches which have ranged from laggy-fantastic! However the last match I played it had terrible lag, then we got disconnected. Went through all the stats screen, xp screen and whatever then instead of going back to the menu it went back to the match in the middle of the ground. But nothing happened, the ball just stayed in the circle and the ump didn't move. Then my PS3 beeped 3 times and restarted. Ok I thought. Then when I went back into the game all my offline stats and matches had been erased. Which I am furious about because I was half way through a season and was dominating. Has any one else had this? Sorry if it's been mentioned before. Spose I will have to start a new season, very disappointing though, first major disappointment with this game.
*EDIT* A little redemption, just played my best online game so far, got a draw 69 a piece against a custom team... exciting stuff!

Finally cracked the 25 win streak for the +20 000 xp. I reckon it took me about 18-19 games to get the last 4-5 wins. Had a decent opponent in the last match as well, only won by about 10 points.

Just played a game with a guy who had a terrible connection, nearly cost me the game too, it was impossible to tackle his players who seemed to be ice skating everywhere. Luckily at the end I kept kicking points which kept the ball in my forward 50, kicking out was the one thing he really couldn't do with his connection, as he would keep kicking it straight to me.

Just had my first game in a 1v2. Me as the hawks, them as Freo. They absolutely smashed me in the ruck but it ended up being a draw 45-45. The siren went as i tapped it to the top of the centre square with Roughy looking to get to the ball first and hopefully handpass it through for a point. Was pretty unlucky
One thing I find a bit annoying is how often punching from the ruck wins. It is fairly easy to counter but I would prefer to be more rewarded for pinpointing targets.

No, there shouldn't be an option to allow crap players to hide the fact that they are crap at the game.
