AFL Merchandise

Does anyone know why AFL merchandise is so expensive? I went to the new AFL store in RM this morning just to see the new Crows gear and it's like $87.95 for a gurnsey. Anyone know why it costs so much?

No i haven't answered my question. My question was why is AFL gear so expensive and we only worked out why Port stuff is cheap but every other clubs cost more.

Taken from this quote one can see that..

a) Crows supporters can afford to pay a lot
b) Port gear is cheaper because they can't afford to pay a lot
c) I'm an idiot

My conclusion is that Crows gear costs a lot because you can afford to pay a lot.

Prices are no different.

Exepensive because AFL charges so much for the licence to offical products.

Its the smae with EPL gear as well.

I think we can leave sterotypes of the support bases out of it.

It could be because of a big supporter base which means more money which means people want more which means that they will buy what they see no matter for how much it cost.

Any merchandise that i buy, i buy from the club, so that all the money that i spend goes back to the club, not like other places where u might get some cheaper merchandise, such as K-Mart, but then your club doesn't get hardly any money from it, so i buy it all at the club, so that the club gets my money.
