Inequity is a problem for us that has spanned administrations. Obviously I have listed those that I see repeatedly in above posts. Personally I don’t care if people think that this is the current administration seeking to absolve responsibility for anything, if they enable an environment at the AFL to allow change.I think that most are happy to do it without the media spot light. I'm still a bit cynical. It gives our board who oversaw most of our terrible rebuilds leading up this and their appointment of a new coach and promise of finals an out.
I think we are on the right path now but we are a lot further back than they realised. It's very possible that we have a few more years of bottom 6 finishes and if a few go possible bottom 3. When our guys who are around 30 finish up we will need a lot of our youth to have made huge strides or we could be down for a proper hard rebuild again
The board knows that that will make them come under increasing pressure. If the can convince everyone that it was all the academies in the northern states and not them it takes all pressure on them off.
Administrations will come and go but such a legacy would be golden for us.
Anyway, probably going over old ground again.
