AFL Rebooted: Darwin Crocodiles
The eighth team in the new hypothetical league is the 'Darwin Crocodiles', named because crocodiles are common in Darwin and feature regularly in the headlines of the NT News.

Design a kit for the Darwin Crocodiles, including home and clash jumpers and a logo. Feel free to use some creative license with the team name if you wish; for example 'Darwin Crocodiles', 'Top End Crocs', 'Northern Crocs', etc

One entry per person; one image per entry. The competition is scheduled to conclude on Sunday 20 November, however entries can be submitted until the polls are created.

 So many great designs this time. Voting's going to be very tough.

Come on, you knew it was coming. He even asked us to simplify it for him.

Also, LC may I ask how you got the curvy text.

Oh it isn't just the logo design, which wouldn't have been an issue, it is the name and colours as well.

Also, LC may I ask how you got the curvy text.

You draw a circle shape and then select the text tool and place it where you want on the shape. The tool symbol will change and when you click and begin typing the text will follow the outside of the shape.

To have the text facing the right way on the bottom of the shape (not upside down) you type like above (just make the shape larger than the area would want the text), then go transform, flip horizontal. The text will then flip the right way up on the inside of the shape.

I did it on word. Firstly, make a textbox. Then type in the text in this case Northern Territory. Highlight the text and go into 'Drawing Tools'. There is a button labelled Text effects. Click on it and go down to 'Transform' and click on the semi-circle. Adjust the size of the circle and text size to fit the shape.

Then I pasted in into a blank paint file and copied it back onto word and simplified it.

Hope this helps

The Darwin Crocodiles FC have adopted a Dallas Cowboys inspired system of jumpers - white at home (to force opposition to wear dark jumpers in the local heat), and dark jumpers away. The white home jumper can be worn with white shorts as a light clash, or the black away jumper can be worn with black shorts as a fully dark clash.

At first I was like "what" and then I looked at it up close.

Great work Craegus :thumbsu:
