I know Round 2 has only just wound up but with Round 3 only a few days away I was wondering if anyone had any early odds for next weekend??

I for one cant pick it between North melbourne and the Eagles at Etihad?

I am leaning towards the Roos because its in melbourne and we struggle with travel and Brad Scott will look at this as his best chance to get off the mark.... West Coast have been competitive in their 2 games but lack the polish to finish a game yet.

Hopeful of an Eagles win but not confident.

Thinking possibly the odds could be:

NM: $1.80
WC: $1.95

or something similar?

You're dreaming if you think $1.25 for Sydney - they'll be $1.08. They have dished out some floggings to the Tigers in recent years.

I'd say Melbourne will be shorter as well, perhaps $2.65 or so. Freo will probably be good value though. At home with an extra day's rest after a relatively easy game - relative to Geelong's game.

Maybe getting on them for leading at half, and full time will give better value.

Either way my big bet of the round will involve Sydney...but no margins

North and Eagles both at $1.65 but with only $10 matched this market will change obviously
Same as with the Port v Lions game, no money really matched yet

Yeah Judds' back, and despite Carlton/Essendon past results, I can't see Essendon getting within 5 goals of Carlton unless something goes wrong with the Blues on the day.

Hawks at 2.78 seems very good to me, not for the win, but I'd take a line of 20 or so, the Dogs aren't "on" yet, and won't be for a while I suspect, and with the Hawks at 1-1 and a tough draw to come, they will not die wondering against the Dogs.

I know we are crap atm but we have the wood over Carlton so be wary.

Anything around the $1.50 for the Saints and I'll have a big go. I know Collingwood were impressive round 1 but the Saints haven't put a foot wrong. Sydney in Sydney this year will be tougher than most think so a win up there was a good result. Not sold on who will play on Riewoldt will be able to stop him

Im underestimating my own side, haha. The swans will win but I dont think they will start the game below 1.10

Am I the only one who thinks the pies are value? Sure they chocked againist the dee's but still won and put in an awesome performance againist the bulldogs.

Probably look at the line of that game, as well as the freo, hawks and melbourne line

Pies are a good team

Saints are a great team

Saints beat every team that threatened to challenge last year except in the GF.
I think saints will be similar this year with an intense hunger to win and confidence to match, similar to geelong last year.

Saints are too disciplined and will tighten up on Collingwoods major play makers like Didak, Davis etc...

These guys ran riot against us which is why we lost whereas Melbourne kept them quiet.

Saints will win comfortably like they have the last three times they have met i reckon.

Hawks are not the team to back at the Dome with their lack of pacey outside mids, comming of a brutal game, injuries and suspensions pending and playing The Bullies.....Footscray are about a $1.36 to 1.38 in my market... I'll be taking anything above $1.50 today if i can get it

Will be interesting to see what odds they post on The Dockers.......could be a play at the line
