I think you're overrating the loss of those players. Dogs showed they can score without Hall. Higgins hasn't been in good form and Lake still hasn't gotten going with no preparation and is underdone.

Jack is a bigger loss to Sydney IMO and I'm sure the Dogs have had the measure of the Swans at the last few meetings in Canberra.

Higgins not in good form?? hes never been a player who plays a full great game, he plays in patches and hes done that each game, and those patches have been great, hes been one of your better players this year, don't know how you can say not in good form
I will give you Hall, he hasn't been in that good a form, but "Dogs showed they can score without Hall" you managed 4 goals in two and a half quarters on the weekend, if you are talking about the week before than just because Hall isn't kicking them doesn't mean hes not taking that key defender away from someone else.

to say Jack is a bigger out than those 3 players is laughable

Got 2 different free bets with sporting bet
One $100 and one $200
Was wondering what you guys normally bet them on?
was thinking either a multi with what i consider 4-6 fairly safe bets adding up to odds with something like 2-3 dollars
an example
either under 39.5 sydney dogs
Geelong over 15.5
Brisbane 1st Q
Melbourne adelaide either under 39.5
Combined odds $2.21

Or Either doing a riskier multi with better odds or using the tactic with two books to make a guaranteed profit

K just had a closer look the $200 free bet can only be used on singles but the 100 dollar one is fine for up to 12 legs

1,000 units on geelong into freo into bris into adel - $3.70ish

done

when does black caviar run next? and syt in euro?

double down

Freo is no certainty, richmond was worse last year and still beat freo.

BC has her next run on the 15th in the BTC Cup (Group 1) in Brisbane.

Hathorn are lazy and Sydney are ok but my statement stands - they havent beaten anyone. They wont get near Essendon IMO.

The same Sydney that took care of Essendon earlier in the year?

If you base this game on how they both performed against Sydney its an 8 point ball game.

Personally think that WC @ 4.50 is too high, they have the wood over Essendon and have clearly improved on last years. Bombers are due to come back to earth sooner rather then later.

Adel/Saint Kilda/WB/Freo all +24.5 @ 3.16

Seems great to me - I think Freo/WB/Adel will all win, or go close.

As for saints, Carlton have only been kicking aroung 75-80 points this year, so I reckon Saints can hold +24.5.

AFL Round 7 Multibet (Sportingbet)

Hawthorn: 25+ = $1.65
Western Bulldogs: 1-24 = $3.70
Geelong: 40+ = $1.60
Fremantle: 1-39 = $2.25

Total = $21.98

with the bye.. and us already having a firm hold on our season.. i highly doubt there will be any coming back to earth.

richmond will not beat fremantle

freo are legit

centrebet are offering freo at $1.73 after 2pm today, i'll be down for $35k's worth

And it's $1.76.

And they won't be accepting $35k on it. Which soho would know if he actually ever attempted to put a decent sized bet on with a bookie, especially for a promo.

I know a lot of people don't like betting on Port games but does anyone have any thoughts on either team by less than 39.5 @ about $1.60?

Hawthorn aren't exactly the greatest travelling team and Port are okay in home games. Only lost by more than 40 once in their last 15 home games. Maybe Hawthorn 1-39 @ about $2.20 is also a good bet?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hawthorn haven't won against Port at AAMI in a while I don't think, and Port are a bogey team for them. Port just always seem to step up their game when they play the Hawks.

Thinking about the following:

Adelaide to lead at quarter time (Melbourne have only won one first quarter this year, against Gold Coast)
Brisbane to lead at quarter time
Bulldogs under 39.5
(I think Jack will be a bigger loss than an under performing Lake, Higgins and Hall)
Geelong over 24.5 (Teams have been shown to be sluggish after the bye, the only reason I'm not going for more)
Carlton H2H (St Kilda have been rather terrible this year and Carlton have been quite impressive)
Fremantle under 39.5 (Richmond have been at least competitive this year, and it's in Melbourne)

$10 on @ 25

I've used the line bets in my main multi's, but i did also use the 1-39 either way at the start of the week. I like it.

Surely Port are going to stand up and give their fans something after the past fortnight. Even if it is at least just staying close and playing some good footy.

Things have been reasonably tight between these two sides in recent memory.

yep, last 7 games h2h have been decided by <39.5

Ports lost four games in its last 30 at Aami by over 39.5
if i am reading the stats right, Hawks have won only 3 games >39.5 points away in the last decade. all were played in Perth.

no rain around which is the only concern

I have just joined Sportsbet and i get my money back on my first bet up to 200 dollars so im thinking of chucking it all on port and if they dont win chucking it on geelong over 39.5 or brisbane q time -12.5? thoughts?

anyone like anything on my match markets?

1.68/53 for melbourne and adelaide to beat gold coast.

nothing i really like..
