30th for me and I have been to 20 NRL grand finals, so I consider this* my 50th GF.

* yes I know there are plenty on this forum that wouldn't consider NRL grand finals to mean anything.

Weirdly only 2 of them have been all VIC teams (2000 and 2011).

Got Q20 middle.
Tried to get picky with Row F on 2A or an aisle seat on level 4, but that's a dangerous game to play when time is ticking.

I forgot and logged in 5 min ago. Already in. Level 2 exhausted, Single seats only level 1 undercover. Level 1 open still available. Level 4 front limited availability, Middle and back of 4 still seats. Looks like silver club members will get a crack this year

Silver won't, it always ends up selling out by 4pm. Way further ahead of last year's sales which didn't get to silver.

Got in at 2:05pm and got Q17 Row B.

I then had to go into a meeting and have just tried logging in again and was surprised to see I got straight through and was still able to get 3 additional tickets in Q26 Row AA.

Pretty unusual, and perhaps indicative of slightly less demand than recent years. It will still sell out before getting to any Silver Members though.

i was just surprised how quickly I got in and what was left 30 min after they had opened. I guess its a 2 hour window. I am sure the AFL will take unsold gold back and flog them off some other way if it comes to that

there is a common denominator - Collingwood.

They are box office. You see it during the season, the members was nearly always sold out no matter who they are playing.

We never get any transparency about club support numbers any more, but it is obvious that the waitlist grew massively around 2010 / 2011. Which team played in three grand finals in those two years?

Carlton and Essendon haven't played in a GF for a long time, but over the past decade or so, when Collingwood doesn't play it is so much easier.

Arguably, their result this year was the perfect thing to reduce demand. Many of their club supports aren't interested because of the result on the weekend. If Collingwood finish 14th, their club support members have had plenty of time to accept they aren't in the big dance and look forward to the day out.

Worked OK for me today. Queue stopped and set around 1:30pm.

Got in a few mins after 2pm and was on the hunt for 3 tickets. Nothing on 2A so went the front of L4.

After trying my luck on a few different devices, settled for the front of Q17.

The metal bar there is a bit annoying but whatever. Pretty happy.

Could have easily got good tickets, was tossing up whether to go or not and wanted to see what I could get. Got multiple chances at good tix but ultimately decided not to go.

I remember last year or maybe 2022 there were a lot of tickets up to the last minute but then they were sold out, leaving nothing for Silver. It seemed a tad convenient for the biggest scalpers of all, the AFL.

Good point. Will be very interesting to see if this happens and magically more "Packages" are available.
