Much improved on last week. Sets up a ripper against the Roos next Friday night.

Lamb, Blackburn again leading the way in the midfield, Conti worked into it nicely as well.

Tiarna Ernst had a few nervous moments in defence but will need another improvement if we are to win next week.

Number 9 was atrocious. Can’t remember her ever getting her hands on the ball.

I honestly think Spark is our best player. She underpins our defence and controls each game.

Definitely the best key defender in the competition.

Did the negative things really well and played the ground and conditions better than the Cats, Mon Con really good along with
the grunt and effort of Lamb. Blackburn important, but you must do something about her when she goes back woman her
up as opposed to man her up. Geelong got their entries right for a short period and we looked all at sea defensively, but as
I said we adjusted very well. Sets up a big game next week.

Good result in difficult conditions. Controlled the ball around the ground and pressure when they had it was immense.

2 zip to start the season in a 7 round season sets us up well

So it looks like it’s Norf and us as the quality teams in our conference.

Yeah it’s a bit ridiculous. Brisbane will walk into another grand final given the lack of quality in their conference.

And there was one way to stop that and that was for 1A to play 2B and 1B to play 2A.

That way the 2 strongest team could still make the GF.

As it stands the 6th or 7th strongest team could make the GF

That shed decided to leave before the season was over, that she always intended to be a norf player.

They’ve given her a job too so I can understand some of it, still think she could have phrased it better. She really wasn’t a good special commentator aside from that anyway. Inarticulate and only talking about her experiences with those she played with last year rather than discussing the game.

They have the conferences because they don't want to make the season any longer. Without them, it would become 9 rounds instead of 7. Conference A is clearly the one with the best sides in it. There is no doubt a good side will miss out on the finals from conference A and a lesser sider from conference B will make it. Lose more than 2 games in Conference A and you are stuffed whereas in Conference B I reckon the second placed team could lose 3 and still make it.

The conferences will be gone next year - as they should, what a stupid idea. If a team (possibly the dogs) wins five games and misses out, and someone in the other conference gets in winning four it will look ridiculous.

Support the women’s game properly, give them a game against every other team and a final four. Don’t market AFLX or any other inane s**t against it and let it grow.

I genuinely enjoyed the Freo game today, skills are getting better and both games today were higher scoring. Some of the set shot kicking would’ve put the guys to shame as well.
