News AFLW to move to 2 year contracts

Heard it mentioned over the weekend on the ABC but can't find anything definitive from the AFL, just the attached link from North.

Has to be a good thing really, allows clubs confidence in building their lists. Hopefully we're well progressed on our signings for key players going into 2020.

Agree, hopefully an improvement.

Watching Adelaide, one of the more 'settled' or 'matured' clubs, one can only surmise where we'd be if we'd hung onto more of the good players we lost after years one and two. Not at Adelaide level, but surely more competitive.

Great news.
These players deserve some continuity.
As for Collingwood, I seriously think there’s something wrong. We lost a load of talented players for no good reason.
