They're so much better than I thought, it's not funny. I wouldn't rate them right up there, but they probably should make the finals from 6-3.

They really should be 7 - 2 after the Colilngwood incident. There not doing it any spectacular fashion but getting the job done none the less.
 
Have exceeded everybody's expectations. They probably have the least most talented team in the comp in terms of player output but they sure have a crack and its getting the job done.

Thats actually just ignorance. I'm dumbfounded as to where you get the idea that your mob is rich in talent and we're a bunch of "gutsy plodders"

If we'd have kicked straight last week it would've been embarassing (as it would've for the Colliwobbles in round one) and that was without two of our most vital players. Please, stop talking utter crap.

Haven't you already been told once to stick to bending? Without trying to make it too obvious a point, you really do appear to be more suited to that as opposed to commenting about North Medlbourne. That along with the fact that your mob has managed to win 8 of the last 26 against us. At least get it to a 50% average before assuming some authoritive and/or knowledgeable tone. :thumbsu:

Wow... you've beaten us more times then we've beaten you in the last 26 games we've played! How does that change the fact that you barely scraped in wins against melbourne AND carlton in the past 2 weeks? Kangaroos backline 2007 = Hawthorn backline 2006.
 
I rated them after they beat the Swans, even though we didn't play our best footy, it was largely due to the fact that the Roos wouldn't let us. I salute you!
 
Start of the year i predicted them to finish last.

Resource wise and list wise, they have done fantastically well so far and i hope they keep going for a run in september.

I'm not 100% sure they can keep it up though
 
They could be like the Swans of 2003. Everyone predicts them to finish last but they end up having a successful finals campaign.

If Essendon kicked straight in the first quarter against your mob we would have won, but we don't have great finishing talent with our midfield hence why we lost.

The difference being Essendon dominated the first 10 minutes of the match. The Kangas dominated the rest. When the boys did have their kicking boots on they sorted out Geelong and Sydney. Don't mean to be a smartarse but the match against Essendon was never in doubt. Don't ask me why, it just wasn't. To the Kangaroos, Essendon are a bit like Geelong. They may get the points every so often but they're not a team we really worry about too much. Hope that puts it in perspective. :cool:

Melbourne kicked extremely poorly throughout the match 2.8 at one stage so what to say "what if" (as you so often do) that if we had our 7 goals last quarter effort would have been enough to beat you.

I really like the roos they way they play is really admirable and everybody enjoys a untalented underdog doing well. Arch is one of my fav players in the comp. But I just think that there hitting their peak just about now and that pure grit and determination whcih the roos have bucket loads of will eventually be found out by the stronger teams.

Well if I ever forget I just go over the record since 2001. Or the record between 1992-99. That does a stirling job of reminding. :cool:

why make you own timeline to suit your argument?

either way you look at it Essendon have been more successful recently than the Roos, even if it is by 1 year:thumbsu:
