Akermanus has not ruled out being traded at the end of the year .. so what do u rekon guys do you think carlton should go after him and who could we possible trade for him?

Me personally , i think carlton should go after him , i think he could be a valuable player for carlton and if kouta retires at the end of the year we'd definatly need another expirienced midfielder

If Aker comes up for trade we would be stupid not to go after him, he has at the very least 3 years left in him and is still good enough to play in our midfield for most of that time and then spend 2 years in the forward line kicking bags of goals, if Kouta retires which he should we would have the room on our list financially to have a crack, so on that basis my oath why wouldn't you go after one of the premier players in the AFL you would be remiss not to.

He would be traded before PSD, therefore forget about it. I do think he would be a good pick up but not for our club. He hasn't had many injuries & could play for another 3 years.

youth policy shmouth policy ... these kids have to learn from someone ?

we cant deny ourselves from picking up a superstar like Aker (should he be in the PSD - wishfull thinking I know) because we are stocking up for our next side.

Im all for a FREE Akermanis.

Agree that he isnt worth our first round pick, maybe a second rounder if sheldon is as good as alot are saying, throw in a teague, livingston or deluca.

Not on your life. Considering the talent in this years draft, there is no way we will be trading away our first, second and third round picks. Trust me, he will not be at Carlton next year.
