I think the injury he had over the pre season is the same injury that put Callinan out? The way it has affected Didak makes you think twice a little about him, I suppose it doesn't matter too much for a rookie as long as they are playing.

Yeah but your talking about hindsight and from the end of the season viewpoint. At the start of 2009 he was not a premium, during the season and even towards the end I still say mid pricer who had a bumper season. Premiums back it up, Davis was/ is never a premium.

Ditto for me. Was going to just sit him on the bench and wait for him to come good, but I don't want that joker any where near my side ever again. Will never ever pick this spud again. He might be a clever footballer and have exquisite skills, but boy he really struggles to impose himself on a game if things aren't going well for him.
Won't be able to get much for him in the way of a trade, but whoever we choose will be an improvement at this stage.
On a positive note - how good were those puddy cats last night.

He's not really in my plans at the moment as far as trades over the next month or so go, but i'll really have to strongly consider if he pumps out a fortnight of 90+ whilst sitting in the 280-320k range. His MPP would be pretty useful.

The comparison to Davis is a poor one. Davis had 1 good year, Didak has been a fantasy gun for ages.
I started with him, and won't trade him out unles she gets a LTI. Call me stubborn, but I think he will come good and still average 90-95ish come season's end.

You'd think he'd be a good pickup come round 15, even if you're just looking for good bench cover (would probably be a luxury trade though).
Safe to assume the Pies will really be up and about in the latter half of the year, so you'd think he'll be back to the 20 touche, 2 goal, 85+ point games were accustomed to seeing him pump out.

He was the sub yesterday. It's actually working out perfectly. I think I'll pick him up after the bye for hopefully 270k or something like that, and he can sit on my bench.

I should've offloaded him weeks ago. Can get SFA for him now at $300k-odd, but my forward line is in disarray carrying both him and Higgins. I know he's not fit, but I've rarely seen someone look so out of sorts- looks absolutely putrid.
