It's absolutely amazing to read it over again.Bit bored tonight, read the first few pages of the first Clarko thread started in April last year. Shows you how scarred we've been over the journey!
I haven’t gone back to read it. My recollection of the events is we really never got to celebrate al clarko coming to coach us.
What should have been a time of hope turned into a freakin nightmare.
I hope we get to see and hear a bit this coming preseason.
We need it amd Blardy deserve it .
Nah shove it up the arse of some of them there Hawf supporter freaks. Ya know when we win one it will be 100% put down to “ priority picks”.The main incentive for a premiership is so we can do the Alistair Clarkson chant.
Do you have a link to it ?Bit bored tonight, read the first few pages of the first Clarko thread started in April last year. Shows you how scarred we've been over the journey!

I got kicked off the hypotheticals board today (twice) for having the temerity to challenge the west cost whingers about our assistance deals - point out to them that their 2006 premiership owed a bit to Chris Judd (priority pick 3 in 2001) and luke shuey and jack darling (both priority picks), they go running off to mummyAnd fair enough from them too.
One of them Hawfie weirdos stated today that it’s not the same, they only had two PP’s……picks 2 and 3 mind you, but not as many as us…..
Yeah the collective overreaction has been a disgrace and I'm all in on the "eff everyone else train"
Lot of the weasel coach's couldn't back it up when they got called on it.
Barrett must have been spurned again because his carry on was back to his old ways and then some.
Eat a collective bag of you know what and all that.
Here you go good sir.

Hypothetical. You have the best coach the game has seen in decades free on the market, with 4 flags in 7 years. He wants to return to coaching in 2023. He played most of his career at your club. You have had a coach for 2 seasons but see no large improvement since about round 17 of the...www.bigfooty.com

spot on, and it requires ignorance of their own club history - I was seriously told Judd was a standard draft selection at 3 because they finished third last. Also traded Judd for Kennedy, and no Kennedy- no '18 flag. So without "handouts" they'd have a flag drought reaching back just shy of 30 years. Musn't mention that though, because it hurts their feelings.

Of course, they had a lot of players taking "unders" over that period.I reckon Geelong is the only premiership side of the last 15 years to win a flag without priority picks…I don’t count Sydney because they get academy players which is similar to PP’s.
Yes although the Cat certainly had an amazing run with FS.I reckon Geelong is the only premiership side of the last 15 years to win a flag without priority picks…I don’t count Sydney because they get academy players which is similar to PP’s.
Yes, not every leg up a club gets is tied to PPs.Of course, they had a lot of players taking "unders" over that period.
Good. That will help stop any other clubs from ever getting them again - which is as it should be. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to take them and I'll take more, I give zero shits when the AFL gifts picks to random clubs, gifts NGA's, zones and commercial draws. As certain as death and taxes
They had their FS come through when clubs basically got them for freeI reckon Geelong is the only premiership side of the last 15 years to win a flag without priority picks…I don’t count Sydney because they get academy players which is similar to PP’s.

Micky, being under our salary cap in the 90s was definitely in the ‘ nice to have category’Yes, not every leg up a club gets is tied to PPs.
A questionable salary cap and a govt funded money making machine certainly helps.
