Dont think he would be on heaps, they stopped paying melb blokes to come down. Every player in the 1's gets 100 a game i think and 40 a win in the 2's.

Dont know how accurate a praccy game will be Mercs. Toora beat Morwell in a praccy game last year with only half a side and nobody over about 6 foot in the team. Would still back Wonthaggi in to beat everyone except Maffra and Sale.

I find that as believeable as an ammos club saying "no players are paid", plenty of ways to skin a cat.

They would pay some of the locals but most there players could get more someone else. Think they all stayed to try to win flags which is what they have done.

thats how the ball game works now u get as much sponsorship and cash as possible and load up on players. some clubs can do it year in year out were others have to save up for 2 to 3 years so its about whether u pick right players these days to pay. There is some loyality but no much

Would only be late 20's Wang. Was never much as a junior but grew and built up in a hurry and turned into a more than handy forward. If he was fit i would reckon he would be worth a punt still.
