Sam Vecenie currently has him ranked 44 in his draft rankings, which would equate to a mid second rounder. Obviously plenty can change between now and draft night, but an NBA contract is looking quite possible at the moment.

Round 2 Pick is not a Gurantee NBA Contract

Withdrew from last years draft because he wanted a guarnateed top 30, which he didn't get a commitment to get. I doubt he gets that a second time around.. Just a matter if he accept a mid -late 2nd round which is not guaranteed either.

Might as well come home and get started early on a guaranteed contract…

I can guarantee we need an injection of first round talent!

Does he want to play in Summer League to try and get a Contract or just come back Home and Join the Pies

We'll see in a few months time

Recently, nearly all second round picks have gotten some form of contract. My assumption is that he'll nominate and if he gets drafted, he'll stay. It can be pretty short term though as under some of the contracts the club can just terminate it.

21 out of 29 last year

I think it was even higher with only 3 blokes not on either a two way or an NBA contract.

For context, last year in a weaker draft he was getting ranked as a late first/early second round chance but he didn’t even nominate (which would likely indicate a lack of interest from clubs to his management).

I’m firmly of the opinion that he’s very unlikely to make it still.

He is playing decently but March Madness will be the biggest stage for him this year as he seems on the bubble in most mock drafts with Haugh being the likely Gator big man selected 1st.
I don't think he will get drafted - so the big question will be if he wants to graduate next year after completing his course.
If not he could be back second half of this year and if graduating then 2nd half of 2027.

10 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists (which is prob above average) from 33 mins on court v Oklahoma

Willing passer for a big guy which is a good trait to have.

Just perused his stats for this season, 15% 3pt and 67% FT percentage on the year. Healthy field goal % though.
They are shooting the 3 ball now more than ever, if you noticed the aussie big man jock landale has made it a real big part of his game as a big player spacing out the floor. He's just gotta be able to hit it more consistently than that if he's gonna make it long term

A positive, Noticed his minutes are up, and pts/rbnd stats are up as a result.

Will be v interesting to see how it all pans out. Like jen said in march madness if he goes really big it could shoot him into the late first round picture, if doesnt go well could bomb out all together
